It’s a great game but hard to play on an iPhone.

A masterpiece. The art, gameplay, story, and music are all top-tier. The only shortcoming is that the Inverted Castle feels slightly underwhelming; thankfully, it features entirely new monsters and bosses. The iOS port this time is also very well done—compared to the PS version, it adds Maria as a playable character, supports controllers, and has a redesigned UI. Big thumbs-up!

Voices are different and audio drops

5 stars would be there IF you could move and/or make the controls bigger. You need a controller to play this. So get yourself a PS4 controller or similar. But that definitely changes it all!

as stated, controls need work. Inputs don't read half the time.

Always was curious about this series as a kid. Now I can play it as I please! It’s a really great game, super fun visuals and the gameplay is good. Totally rad game.

game itself is flawless, however there is room on the borders to move the buttons OUT of the actual game area, and enough room to have all 3 of alucards transformations be their own buttons. on a ps4/5 controller, the map is bound to right stick up/down which can be glitchy and frustrating with the map getting 'stuck' on screen, being able to rebind buttons would solve this completely. address this, its not even hard. i could do it myself.

It took me a long time to figure out the different things I could do in the game because I’ve never played or had anyone around me play it but it’s so fun once I got the hang of it!! It was super enjoyable learning new skills and accidentally unlocking spells lol I haven’t finished it yet but super pleased!

The mobile controls & the game itself were a challenge at first to get used to as I’ve never played this game before, but after getting the hang of it, I’m having a blast. It was worth the few bucks it cost. Highly recommend.

This one needs “Controller Recommend”.

Such an amazing game that’s still enjoyable even today. However this port isn’t the best for players who want to use the touch screen controls. It’s simply just not made for it, you can get used to it after a while but it’s highly recommended to just use a controller.

4 stars because this is not a direct port. I dislike Alucards, and Draculas new voice. Their original voices help make this masterpiece of a game.

The game is really laggy on my iPhone 14 pro max. I don’t understand why and the controls are not som great unless you have a controller.

Get yourself an Xbox series X controller, update the firmware, and get ready to game like it's 1997. This game takes me back to the best years of my childhood and it is now portable with one of the best modern controllers.

I prefer this version over the ps4 one. Anyone who says the controls are bad just have sausage fingers and should consider a diet. Port Rondo of Blood🙏

Overall game runs well but there’s no audio at all and sometimes the buttons don’t register when clicked. Maybe an option to move them and change their size would be helpful?

For Richter or Maria mod. The skill of maria ↑↓→□ and ↓↑X(jump) was hardly order to use touch screen.Also like Alucard and Richter ↓↑X.And the skill of Maria/Richter ↓X was easy to order, not need to set a separate key.Please custom the key button for us. I really like this game, it's the best game in decades i thought.Please optimize it, and i appreciate for all of yours.

Without being able to adjust where the buttons are located, it is really hard to find them. You have hit the button 5 times before it reacts. Stinks because it’s such a great game.

Please add external control 🎮🕹support and AppleTV compatible. Konami please its benen a Long time! Update this Game. Bring back the original voice actors. Konami make something good. Its been a long time more than 2 years and no update.

This is absolutely one of my favorite games ever. I love everything about it, even the soundtrack. I was HOOKED from the moment I started playing.

Besides the game over screen being painfully slow, every thing else on this game excels and exceeds expectations. Great title and more developers should join Konami (I’m actually surprised I said that too) to develop old gems like this one for iOS.

Touch screen control is Ok to me. I was able to beat the game with 200.7% exploration rate with no issue. The developer is considerable enough to translate some difficult combos/magics into single touchscreen buttons which is really helpful.

Love this game. The controls make it infuriating at times though. Improved movement and action buttons would make this go from a 3 star to a 5 star

Best of the Castlevania’s. I play it with a controller which makes it a little easier with phone or tablet. Runs great with iPhone or iPad.

This app would be so much cooler if the prequel were on here alongside SotN. Why isn’t it on here as well? Happy to see this in the App Store btw.

Just buy it, you will not be disappointed if you loved this game during the PS1 era.

The clocktower issue fixes itself. This game is great, especially when you use a controller. My favorite game of all time.

I will pay another 2.99 for it. And probably not buy it if I found it is gone before purchasing.

I love this game but it’s impossible to finish it if sometimes when you save your progress it doesn’t work and you have to play a sección of the game over and over again

Game is great. No complaints there. Controls need to have the area of actuation increased. If you’re off by a bit there’s no input. It can be frustrating with some of these bosses when your attacks don’t register.

The mobile controls, always throw me off from having a good time, because of this the game is okay.

Can we set the screen safe zones ourself? Quick spell is hidden by the notch and the controls are a bit too far to the edges of the screen.

First off I love the game it takes me back to my childhood thank you Now we have an issue with the left statue in the clock room not opening please fix because this prevents progress

Wonderful game but absolutely terrible controls

The game is perfect its the trash controller thats the issue i have to tap left or right multiple times to get alucard to move causing me to get hit
