No review, just updating a previous one stating it doesn’t work right. you just have to orient the phone correctly. it only does landscape one direction.

I’ve been an avid fan of Caustic for years and I’ve grown to love it even more. It’s almost like an underground phone app because it has no support. It’s so what you see what you get program… the workflow is amazing it’s quick. It’s got that great polyphonic but also Lofi quality I mean you could spend $1000 on one of these super pocket trackers or you could just rock caustic 3 like a pro.

I got this app many years ago on kindle I got it as a cheap replacement for GarageBand since I couldn’t afford a Mac in 2014. I would spend hours everyday making music on this app. When I lost my kindle I tried to use other DAWs but nothing compares. I’ll tell you why! There are no loops or midi phrases. You make everything on your own. There are limitations but those limitations build creativity. Now that I can afford an apple device. I’d still rather use Caustic! It’s good to be home in 2025.

Rej I’m looking for all the sound packs for caustic to add on my iPhone . I have proof of purchase when I had android of the sound packs . I’ve bought caustic twice . I no longer have an android but none the less . Please let me know how I go about getting all the paid packs back

If the dev could make caustic visible in the files app users like me would pay 30 bucks a pop without blinking. Still working on 0S 18

I just want to say that I am super grateful to even be able to use this all these years! It is the only DAW that I will use and I’ve used it for all my music to date! I just wish the windows version works better, I’ve been trying to teach my brother how to make music with caustic on windows but once a certain amount of patterns are placed on the sequencer (max like 3) the screen goes black or all the text and pattern designs go away and bug out and it then becomes unusable, if there is a fix for

It worked before, but when i updated my device, it started to only be like half of my screen.

This app is great I’ve been using it a long time now only one thing, I upgraded from Android and was excited to use it again on my iPhone, but here’s the thing; if Apple supports Caustic why is there no preset packs to download from the App Store for the Caustic app? I can’t find any packs as the previous ones I downloaded when I had Android. Help me please I really want to continue using it.

On iOS 17 the headphone output is simply none functional. This is clearly over Bluetooth.

I hope they do update sometime (we would be happy to pay!) but it is still working fine on my older device with iOS 15, except most of the export options have broken! I was still able to use the AudioShare option however after purchasing that app and from there can save to iCloud, etc. like other modern apps. Might still be possible to sync files with iTunes as well, have not tried. Thanks for all these years with this groovy app!

Been making music since 1983 and I have to say, for a digital WS, this is quite impressive. I have tried a lot of similar apps, but I keep coming back to this one. The only problem I have experienced is on my iPad, when I try to connect via Bluetooth, it will not connect and only plays sound from the speakers. No other issues. Great app! This app is super fun and I believe super underrated. However, I believe adding bluetooth support would improve it ten fold.

One wish that i have is that i hope this developer could update this app to at least support for some time 🥲🥲 perfect app for mobile music creations!!!!

Best mobile daw ever created! Thanks Rej I have a very important question tho.. I’ve recently installed it in an iPhone.. How and where do you find the Caustic-data folder ??

This app use to be pretty good but it hasn’t worked correctly on my phone for years.. sadly I bought it and then it went to trash. DO NOT BUY IT!

This is actually a phenomenal app in general. Originally for Android, this was one of the first mobile music production apps, and still one of the best mobile “DAWs” ever. Sadly, this port of the app no longer works with current iOS . I couldn’t get it to work on any of my iPhones, my girlfriend’s iPhone, or either of our iPads.
