Lost my license (again), this saved me 12.95$ for reprint.
Was super easy to set up. All my licenses on one app. Hopefully it work on the water. If not I will screenshot each license
I love that I can access my license through the phone and don’t need a physical copy now. Would be great if you could add the license to your apple wallet.
Finally, no more shuffling around to find my license for an hour before each trip. It’s great there is now an app to show your license. Next step in my eyes is a fishing regulation map that is up to date on the app that you can download before going to places without service. Also, making the report cards virtual so you can enter and record fish information on the go. I think this would allow for more complete records for CDFW. Thanks for making the app!
Consider adding tidal charts and lunar phases to the main console. Pretty good app.
Very nicely done app. Although I still like having a hard copy of my license for spots that there is no cellphone service. The only thing that would make this app better is to report the tides on it.
The app works great. All my info was correct and I was able to submit my lobster card on the app. Thank you CDFW for bringing us to the 21st century.
Nice that it shows my fishing license, wish it showed my hunting license though.
Clean interface and was able to add both my fishing licenses. Not that I ever go fishing without bringing the physical ones, but nice to have it on my phone also.
I’d say it a good start but I’d like to be able to tag my harvest via the app. If I’m not carrying my physical license, I’m likely not going to carry the physical tag. Texas has had an app and ability to tag your harvest for a while so it’s a possibility and that would auto populate the harvest report. Hope to see this functionality in the near future.
Great that you finally have app bases licenses, almost as advanced, but decade after other western states, but I still have to pack around the hard copy steelhead report card, which totally defeats the purposes of a license on my smart phone. Here’s an idea: if you automate the report card too, you might actually get better, dare I say near real time data reporting in a format that doesn’t require later data transcription into a database, making anglers lives easier. I know, what a concept.
