Okay, well it's a mixed review

I was really looking forward to using this program as advertised, but there is no relationship between the tune I whistle and the notes that appear on the phone. I will say though, typing some random notes into the program and asking it to "write a song" is really funny and very entertaining. I'm still mad about the whistling thing, but I may get my money's worth out of this program yet.

Almost

This is fun to play with and really has a lot of potential. I've used it to generate three "songs" and by adjusting the settings I can get good results. The biggest problem I see is that the songs you save do not include most of your settings. Yes it saves the notes, but what about everything else? Tempo? Instrument selections? It's almost like starting from scratch when you load something you saved. Of course songs you export are locked in with all your settings as you would expect. Lots of ot

Fun!

This app is just fantastic! Loads of fun, seems to capture all kinds of styles and come up with all sorts of interesting stuff.

Lots of fun

This is pretty easy to use to make some music. I am not majored in music, but I can still create some funny stuff with this. Just make a try!

Whistle recognition very poor

If my own sub-par whistling were to blame, I could understand it. But trying to capture the tune from the opening of the "Twisted Nerve" song from Kill Bill - very clear whistling only - the notes captured were nothing like the notes whistled. I would increase the rating quite a bit if the recognition were fixed.

Great idea, terrible app.

It's sad because the app is fun to use and produces some decent results. However the insane UI and bugs make it practically unusable. The only export option is .mp4 which is pretty useless to those who want to modify the music. Apparently the app has MIDI out capability, but I don't have the hardware to test it. Worst of all is the app does not re-load the chords from a save file. It will play the song and show the melody line, but not the chords! If the devs add midi export, many of the

Good composition but loses chord names

This app is just for fun only. It does not have accurate input capture of the notes from whistle or voice. It is about 40% accurate. It also loses the chord names upon re-loading a saved song. The auto composition comes up with interesting melodies which can be used as a starting idea.

Probably not for you

If you’re like me, you’d be getting this app because you’d like to make music by whistling instead of learning sheet music. However, after spending $4 on an app, that isn’t the case. There are 0 similarities between what I whistled/sung and what was on the phone. Others said saving and loading had some issue, but I wasn’t able to make anything that I felt was worth saving. Don’t get this if you want to have a whistle-to-sheet music converter. Honestly I’m sure there are better regular music ma
