This Application has saved my entire life and situation multiple times in two months that I have had it with my anxiety and other things that have been happening around my area it’s nice to have safety at ease!

An amazing source for news in my area. No Cap.

I’m a paid subscriber and cannot even look at comments very frustrating and then there’s comments that get removed and that upsets me as well if I’m paying I should be able to see it all even if it I don’t understand

I like this app a lot. But something has to change. Please when sharing videos, can you please make it so other other people without this app can see it on Safari or chrome like we see Citizen on desktop just like a video. Currently, when sharing a video to people that don’t have this Citizen app, people will be directed to the App Store which is not very convenient because some people don’t want the app, they just want the video to play. Thanks.

I cannot search the area of Charlottesville specifically, when I try it just comes up with small buildings in the results and only those I can click on. I want to search the entirety of Cville. I imagine this is an issue with all smaller cities, I tried the same with Dover Delaware and had the same issue. Only places in Dover came up, not Dover. This doesn’t happen with big cities. As of now though this app is incredibly useful for big cities. I’m happy to know crime in smaller cities is low or

Why did you replace COVID metrics for trending street crimes in other states? I couldn’t care less about a trash fire in Ohio on the other side of the country? Genuinely curious if people who got this app to keep up to speed with their neighborhoods are actually reading about all this stuff happening in other cities and states. Love this app just wish it was cheaper! It offers so much important info and I am a single mom that works late nights and this app helps me feel safer like I know what’s going on around me! I want to keep it but just can’t afford to pay that much a month I think 9.99 would be more reasonable

It wont let me change my address i live in Webster tx not Houston tx but webster option didnt pop up. So it’s not accurate location

I really wish they hadn't removed the covid map & info of daily positive rate, infection rate, hospital capacity, and other related stuff. It's the only way I kept up w covid at this point lol.

Does what it sets out to do. Notifies me of incidents as they happen around me and provides real time information. A well made app.

The app is great but I can't use it unless I give "Always" for tracking which I don't want. I don't understand how this is not a thing for apple reviewers as this becomes unusable. The rest of the app is great as other have mentioned.

Citizen app won’t rotate. I run my iPad sideways and tired of flipping to use the app.

Please fix the notification. Scaring me by telling me how citizen saved someone’s brother??? I only want notifications regarding things that’s happening around my neighborhood. Again fix this.

Great app in Chicago, I just wish I could set a radius (within 3 miles) and get all notifications for that area. Sometimes they don’t notify me about shootings 10 min ago 400’ away, but do notify me for a car accident on the southside

It’s nice to know what is going on around you. This app keeps me informed on all the crime close to me. It allows me to be on the lookout! It’s also informative when there is a accident or a fire . Citizen is a great app I hope it keeps going.

I think it is a great way to communicate incidents in the area. However, I think it is ridiculous that people report false incidents.

I’d like to see better follow ups on posts. I’d also like to be able to search for older posts. And some of the comments need to be better administered.

You can only watch video horizontally, which is incredibly annoying because the video doesn’t need to be big most of the time (nothing to see), and sometimes it’s vertical video that makes it harder to see because it’s too small. There is always a comment that floats in the top right corner of the video that covers the video and you cannot dismiss it. Usually it’s just an obnoxious comment. Sometimes the chat doesn’t open into a full screen so you’re scrolling through half an inch of the chat, f

This app used to work great when it was free; I think they have made the free experience worse as a tactic to encourage subscribing to the paid version. Unfortunately the current user experience is bad enough on my iPhone 12 that I would not even consider subscribing to the paid version.
