I bought CityMaps, so it could download country maps (did that) and then access them when I don’t have access to internet while travelling but know where I am by following the strobing blue ball (‘You are here). Doesn’t work. Won’t open and present downloaded maps. Unsatisfied customer.

I’ve been a longtime user of this app family with hundreds of pins logged all over the world. Over the years, for various issues, I have gone back and forth between the “normal” and “Pro” versions of this app since they never seem to be both working at the same time. The non-Pro app decided to stop working for me while on a trip to Europe. I re-downloaded the Pro version and was quite happy that it worked and pulled all my lists from the cloud. Works offline too.

I was looking at the app while flying and all maps disappeared that had been downloaded for offline use. Once I landed I had hoped they would load but the do not-whether I am on line or off line. All of my saved points of interest are still there, but no maps Please help me restore them.

I am in Lisbon at the moment, a d do not have data. So I downloaded the CityMaps2Go Pro version for $30. It’s been HORRIBLE. Works for a half hour away from wi-fi then quits. I kept having to find wi-fi in coffee shops, etc., so it would start working again. Quits a half hour or so later. I’ve been lost all day. Finally said Screw It and bought a paper maps. CityMaps owes me my $30 back and a few hundred more for my lost time and aggravation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

I have been using Ulmon for years it’s and amazing map app. You can make places you want to see and places you have been. Just download the map you want and your are good to go offline.

I use it in every city I travel to visit. It's great for discovering restaurants, mapping travel, and seeing the sights. I highly recommend the App.

This is an awesome and HUGELY useful app however some levels of functionality seem to be declining. Perhaps it’s no longer being updated. What a shame.

Use this to plan visits to anywhere. I use when land trip or when on cruise. Pick high rated food and attractions. I located transit stops to use for sightseeing and hotels.

I used to be able to use this offline but I don’t know since when it doesn’t work any more. It would not show the downloaded maps when i have no internet connection, it requires me to get online once first, completely defeats the purpose of offline maps

I didn’t explore this app thoroughly, as I was stunned to see that Landscape Arch, in central Utah, was the photo of display when I searched for the Grand Canyon, which is in central Arizona and bears no resemblance to Landscape Arch. I would never confidently trust information from an app that makes such a blunder. The app does have pretty pictures, but ‘of what’ I could never be sure.
