Clue Period Tracker & Calendar App Reviews

I use Clue to track more than just my cycle — travel, alcohol intake, body temp, sleep, etc — and absolutely love it. I’m trying to conceive so have the data clearly displayed and digestible is very important to me. I’ve tried several other apps and this one is a keeper. Plus they don’t sell your health data to third parties!!!

This app is perfect for women that want to keep track of their cycle. It’s mostly free and all free items allow you to keep track of lots of important stuff and if you want the paid version then you get bonus stuff for a really good price. It also allows you to see years worth of data (once you’ve tracked it) so you can see how your cycle varies. It’s most the time extremely accurate and user friendly.

been using clue every single month since i was 13. im turning 24 next month. best tracker ever and aparently will never sell your data. its very accurate and has lots of options to track including NFP, pregnancy mode, and even a perimenopause mode.

I’ve used this app for years. It was five stars. Then they started pushing the subscription ad. Every single time I open the app. I feel like I click a button and it’s like “buy it for a year!!!” I don’t need the extra premium things, I just want to track my period - which the app was perfect for. If I could pay a one time to just get rid of their self promoting ad, I would. Might have to switch.

I’ve been using clue since I got out of high school in 2015 and it has been accurate to a T every month! I just recently started using clue plus and have switched to conceive and I love that I can read the articles 🥰

I have been using this app since I first got my period. It has always been easy to use and extremely helpful in understanding my cycle. The only thing that would make this app better would be to integrate 3rd-party apps. I would love to be able to sync my data with my apple health app.

I absolutely love this app I have been using it for years . It has been so accurate and even helpful when I have had to share with the doctor about my period . You can just look back ! It’s perfect. I have not purchased anything using it free has worked very well for me ❤️

I love y’all’s app and love how useful it comes to me! I really wish you didn’t need to have clue+ to create tags and I understand where y’all are coming from too, I just really think that it would come even more useful for people to creat there own tag so it’s personal for them without having to pay for personal usage. I still love how useful and helpful this app is to me and really appreciate having it and how easy it makes my period experience.

I really like this app for conceive mode but I wish it would tell you what cycle day you were on and also have a place to document fertility treatments you may have that month as well

This app is so helpful and makes tracking my period very easy. Clue is also very accurate which makes it even better.

i’m a teen and i’ve had clue for about 2 years, this app has helped me so much figure more and more about my body as it changes and grows! clue has helped me my sister my mom and my friends so much with helping them know when to expect what! you should totally get clue because i promise it will change your life for the better :)

Helpful for predicting period and easy to use!

I like the app, it has some pretty great features, but I feel like it’s lacking in the period tracking area. There are very few symptoms to choose from. I do like that there is a reminder to take my birth control, but it would be especially helpful to see what time I took the last one, to make sure I stay within my 3 hour range. It’s because of this that I think I will be switching to a different app, at least for now.

Effective app and very accurate

Just like with every other great app it starts off great but then everything else starts to cost money. I just want facts about my body and a tracker. But no I have to pay just to get info on my body.

Clue has been so helpful to me in the past 2 (maybe 3-4?) years I have used it. I have had both the subscription and the free version and really, the only difference that I noticed with the subscription was more access to their written material. I was happy to support but in the interest of saving money I went back to the free version: still works awesome. Granted, I have a very regular cycle but it’s helped me track patterns and know when to expect certain things. Thanks Clue!

I have been using Clue for so many years way before Apple launched Health. Now the ability to sync between Clue and Health is a great feature but it doesn’t work all the time. Sometimes it does sync but every now and then it does not. I have to manually check and manually log my period in Health which is double work. (And no I did not change my settings nor permissions in Health.) It’s really painful.

Super great helpful app as I go thru hormone imbalance and pcos. Nice to know which part of cycle I’m in and when period might come. The feature I like most is being able to list and track any symptom, not just the presets. So I track “high strung” “insecure” “so hot” “ovary pain” and “needed advil”. It’s really helped me see patterns and track progress as I balance my hormones. This is the 3rd period tracker app I’ve tried and it’s the best.

Have used for years. Would love if it incorporated cycle tracking for workouts! Like what phase we are in and a lil blurb on what’s recommended.

I have used this app for years and love it. My only frustration and complaint is that it constantly freezes when trying to upload data (more so recently then in the past). It is very frustrating as I have to close and reopen the app every time I enter one data point. Hopefully it will be fixed soon because I do love the app! EDIT: Back to normal! They fixed the freezing glitch and now I can use again daily. Love the app!!

I love this app! i’ve been using it for at least 3 years now and love how it lets me customize to what i need! i wish it had a notes section for each day though, since i find myself also using the notes app on my phone to keep track of how bad cramps were or something similar since severity of cramps is not something i can track inside of the app.

I love this app, it’s great for tracking my period. I just have one teensy eensy itty bitty suggestion. Please make some of the new stories free. I could really use some of them (I’m not going to name which). Other than that this app is great, I just need some of the articles to be free. Thanks for listening!🙏🏻Please make it free! Took away two stars only because the latest update logged me out and I can’t log back in or reset my password since neither button is working now

Been using the app since Jan 2022 and it's been insightful! I received an email saying they now have Clue Conceive but I don't have that option under "mode", only "period" or "pregnancy" and would love to use that feature. I am on the free trial thinking that maybe conveive mode is subscription only but still no conceive mode? (app is and iPhone are up to date too) I hope someone can assist me with that but everything else has been great so far :)

I like the options and I’m on the free version. I recently had a baby so it looks like my average time between cycles is ridiculous haha but other wise I really enjoy the app

Redownloading this because people are saying this one protects privacy. With the possibility of roe v wade overturning... please let this work here in the US too.

Clue is so good! I never remembered when my next period was so this changes everything! It’s a great system and is simple and easy to use! It’s SO GOOD

Love this app in every way possible, I don’t think I’ll ever use another app to track my health. However, I use widgets on my home screen for accessibility, & I’m waiting for the day Clue incorporates them. Otherwise 1000/1000!

I love this app for tracking my flow! I’m even on BC and it’s still very accurate.

It is not 100% accurate but it really does help guesstimate when my superior is about to start

i love this app, it is very helpful. But I’ve recently started birth control and I’m using the implant in the arm, it does not give me an option to put that in.. why? and if I’m missing something please let me know.

I always see videos and recommendations telling me to go download Clue, but it’s very unreliable, most of the time they don’t track my period properly, which leads to unexpected pain.

I use this app to keep track of my wife’s cycle. I appreciate being prepared and she appreciates the head’s-up!

It’s getting to the point where i can’t see anything other than my current cycle. I have endometriosis and it sucks to not have access to predictions or past cycles to inform my physician with. I understand and am grateful for an ad free experience but it sucks to have everything behind a paywall.
