CNET: News, Advice & Deals App Reviews

I’m a longtime CNET reader, but have been very disappointed with the declining quality of this app. Starting February stories have been getting stuck at the banner section up top, and the log in feature to save topics and preferences hasn’t worked. Reported this as feedback in the app, and not even a token response. Not sure what’s going on behind the scenes at CNET, but it’s starting to feel like they are in a downward spiral and unable to maintain their site and app effectively. Hope it’s ju

The video news reels at the top of the screen doesn’t update to show new footage as it has in the past. I’ve had the same videos at the apps’ heading for months. I thought it may be a glitch, so I deleted the app, downloaded the app again with the same results. I have an iPhone 13, which isn’t very old. What gives?

This publication needs to take a serious look at its priorities with its web based articles on the Google news feed. Which is more important, the massive revenue generated by the overwhelming ads that are causing the page to glitch and become unreadable to complete the article or, actually reaching its reader base with digestible journalism? Has CNET forgotten about its roots in journalism in favor of ad revenue?

Great and informative App

The stories and pictures haven’t updated for weeks now. The information underneath have, but it’s getting old looking at the same information for weeks on end

I tried several times but I cannot update this apps. It showes me I have newest version but still want me update. Can anyone help me please?

Over the years cnet has evolved for best in consumer interest with reviews testing results recommendations and finally deals all in one place seems awesome

I am giving two stars because the app needs to be updated. For one, the daily articles that scroll at the top of the app have not updated (changed) in over a month. Have sent some emails to support, with no feedback. Second, I am unable to login to CNET using the app(keep getting an error that something went wrong), but I can when on the CNET website with no issues.
