Love this app! But it should be free, stop trying to get my to pay

Of all coin apps I tried this app has the easiest photo id. However the silver price is not current or any way to change it

How do I sell valuable coins?

I use this every day . It’s by far the best app for a beginner . I can store all my coins , see their grade and price and all in the app . Lots of great info as well . Easy to use too!

In this early 2026 market of silver—the limitations of this app become more obvious. Without current spot prices as part of calculation, what good is an estimate of $52 on any Morgan—even if it’s ready to be culled. Well, for me, perfectly worthless and a waste of time.

Totally worth the money!

This app is just awesome! I have vision problems and it is difficult for me to identify coins without a magnifying glass. Super pain in the butt. With coinsnap no problem. The grading is very helpful. Obviously it can’t be 100% trusted but it gets me in the ballpark. I LOVE coinsnap.

Basic coin identification works fine for mainstream currencies, but that’s it. Rare or regional coins are almost always misidentified, and the valuation is not trustworthy at all. It’s a decent free tool for casual checks but useless for serious coin work.

Always fun to see what coins are worth! Love this app!

Hey what a great tool to use and they give real prices!!

Everything this app is is great. It identifies coins on target and gives you a real price. Very close to Grey sheet. The only thing I would change is, I would make it be able to pick up silver rounds. And give you a price for them. Especially the premium .

Coinsnap has really helped me figure out if my coins are worth anything or are rare. I recommend it.

It works like it says it would, but I’m just not into coin identification right now. It is very hard to find a way to cancel your subscription for this app.

The only thing (so far) that I am missing is a numbering system, and an ability to print the catalog. Other than that, awesome app!!

Problem is mine. Having trouble holding the camera steady.

I was totally blown away by the technology, as the app clearly can identify coins! Not only that but it generates a plethora of information, which by default allows the user to catalog and organize their collection. With that said, I must admit, even as a novice, I am highly skeptical of the app’s grading process, as it seems extremely lenient. Overall, now that I’ve had a chance to experiment with it, it’s an app I would never want to let go!

Not to accurate and the fact that you have to pay for something that is not accurate is not all that impressive. This app should be free fun to play around with.

Good app but could be better if you could contact a buyer.

I recently acquired an 1856 flying eagle cent. Although rare, it doesn’t get recognized by the software. But it’s still an awesome app! But it would be nice to see it with a more inclusive range. Thanks for the app! Use it everyday since I got it!

This App is too easy. I Love it. All you do is point and click. Then wait a few seconds and BAM !! Instant evaluation!!! Does not get any easier.

So far I haven't been getting good answers at all like for instance I scanned a 1992 penny and it came up with 1903 which was sorta dumb and I did this multiple times and it never gets my coins right edit: ok now Ive been doing this longer and Ive realized the app needs to scan multiple different coins before it starts working.

I need to know if this app is worth having and do CoinSnap pick up on rare coins I need to know the real truth what if CoinSnap don’t pick up on a rare coin that I had appraised I love CoinSnap I just need to know will it recognize a real rare coin that’s my concerns
