CollX: Sports Card Scanner App Reviews

1. Only about 50% of my cards were read correctly when scanned. Of those that were not read correctly most were easily found with a keyword search which makes me wonder why they didn't initially pop up when scanned. Lastly, I had to manually enter a handful of cards that weren't recognized on scan or on a search. Scan/search fx: 3/5 but had potential. 2. Personal collection catalogue: once your cards are entered they can be organized any way you would like and searching through your collection

This app has a nice, enjoyable, easy-to-read layout that keeps me coming back for more, however, the website consistently crashes, that’s just frustrating and annoying. It would be given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the crashes every 3 minutes.

I absolutely LOVE CollX. I’ve bought AND sold dozens of cards and every transaction has been smooth. I uploaded my first 500 cards in the first day having the app, so decided the benefits of the PRO upgrade was well worth it. I’ve already sold enough to more than justify the cost, not to mention the “free” $10 monthly perk to spend. I can’t get enough of this app!

I love using this app. It is the best app that I’ve found to scan my cards. The pro feature makes the whole experience even better. 6/5 stars!

This app is insanely good, keeps your collection in line. It is actually great

Fix the fact that if I buy a card off someone who does not send it… I can rate that seller in attempts to warn others that the seller only accepts deals then does not send the card while CollX won’t give your money back until 30 days pass and you send them (CollX) an email requesting a refund. This has happens 3 times now, that’s 90 days of waiting for all my money back.

I really love this app. I got the app to see how much my collection was worth and then one of the ambassadors came and got me my first sale. After that I got a few more sales and then it just took off for me. I definitely recommend downloading this one, you won’t regret it.

I noticed today that all my cards are not in my list. I should have over 300 but it’s less than 200. App keeps crashing all day! Sent in an email but no answer. Like the app just needs to be fixed.

I’ve only had this app for a few weeks and have almost scanned my entire collection. The problem is, when it works, it works great. But, when it doesn’t work, it really doesn’t work. The app will will at identifying a card or won’t be able to upload the image. I love this app but right now I hate it. I even pay the $99 a year so I can get the full app experience. Please fix the issues.

This app is ok for the 10% of times it recognizes your card. If you have a lot of time you can look up the cards manually, but even then it has trouble finding cards. They have updates all the time but it’s the same problem I described over and over. Hopefully they’ll figure out the issue soon but I doubt it

Great app, quick and easy way to scan tons of cards fast and add to your digital collection. Also great for buying and selling cards. The only problem is cards are estimated in value, and registered by recent sale data, so if you get new cards chances are it doesn't have enough sale history to be registered right away. Other than that awesome app

This app is great. I have already made a bunch of sales through it. The Pro feature is great on the app.

This app didn’t help me find many cards. Especially ones that I know would be a lot of money. All of my old and rare cards didn’t show up so o am very angry at them for making such a worthless app. Yet it did help find some new cards

Also having problems with my last couple of buyers not receiving their cards. I went to the post office and two packages are no where to be found. They said it’s not a good tracking number. Gonna have to switch to my own postage!!! I have cards that are worth more money like a lot of users are saying.

I tried to scan many cards over the last few weeks, and barely any of them have registered. The app display also isn’t very good, and the scanner when you hold your phone horizontally is extremely janky. However, the setup process is fairly simple and the app being free is a good aspect. You do have to pay money to get access to some features, which is very annoying. Overall, I was disappointed with this app and I would not recommend it.
