Compass 55 is the bomb
It’s amazing how much there is to this application. That said, there is a learning curve, but not too steep. I had been looking for such an app for many years and I’m glad I finally found Compass 55. It does exactly and much more than I need and a one time subscription is fantastic. Thank you.

This app seems to cover most of my needs, is quite easy to use and Stan, the developper behind it, is ready to answer any questions in a very short time.
I use it kayaking in intricate marshes to find underwater caves and it is definitely becoming a must in my gear.

A great, simple inexpensive GPS!
This is a wonderful GPS for those of us who fly aircraft without electrical systems. I put my iPhone on the dashboard and Compass 55 points the direction to my destination, gives my ground speed, altitude, vertical speed and other important information. At the end I can export the track and relive the trip on Google Earth. I don’t fly anywhere without this great app.
