I love this game because it makes my brain work and how come right after the first level there’s an ad at least make the ads after the 13th level PLEASE

This app is really good for working your brain but I wish there was a “hint” option. It would help tremendously with how difficult the levels are!

When you get 3 sets of 4, the last guess is automatic. If there were 2 extra words in there it would be more of a challenge.

It would be helpful if we could access hints. As it is now, I’m often just randomly picking squares and hoping to hit on the right combination. And I’m usually pretty good at doing puzzles like this!

Sets of words are frequently reused from puzzle to puzzle.

This Game is Fun!

There is no way to move on until you have arrived at the correct groups. There needs to be a way to quit a game or get a hint on what to do next. There are thousands of possible combinations. I forgot the math for that calculation. 16 things taken 4 at a time…….divided by 16-1 or something like that

Would be nice to know the correct answer when stumped

It’s OK. The biggest challenge I have with the game is that it doesn’t have an “end” function. If you get stuck and can’t finish a line, there’s no way to quit the game and start over. You have to close then re-open the app. Other games give you a certain number of tries and when you lose, you can see the context of the lines you missed. In this game you’ll never learn the correct answer for the lines you missed. There’s plenty of similar apps that have these two missing functions so there’s

the connections game could be great but the annoying pop up ads that force you to engage with them while hiding the escape buttons totally ruin the game experience. why would anyone think people want to put up with that!

The category titles are incorrect (ie category name was NBA players and the group was NBA teams)

I have been playing the New York times version of this. After guesses that are wrong and chances depleted, the correct lines are revealed. This also helps players learn how the puzzle maker thinks. This game needs a reveal. Otherwise you have to stop playing and there is nothing more to do.

Overall It’s okay, a lot of repeat connections & there’s no hints or features if you get it wrong to eventually see what the connection was so you’re left wondering forever depending on the words. It’s fine for a time filler but wouldn’t recommend for anyone who wants to really replicate the NYTimes puzzles

Been playing for a week lots of repeated categories

Can be fun but there’s no help available if you get stuck. Game play can’t advance. Might as well delete it.

Re-emphasizing what others have already reviewed. Some puzzles are overly simplified and a waste of time. While other puzzles are so subtly related and if impossible to solve, you might as well delete the app because the game is over permanently.

Gameplay isn’t that great. Some are easy some are impossible and vaguely related. The app also tries to make me get their other game every time I get on to play.

Recommend reducing the frequency of in your face advertising.

Stop having your advertising audio take over my music. Makes me want to uninstall it quickly.
