Contexto - Word Guess App Reviews

I downloaded this app, hoping it would be a relaxing way to wind down after a stressful day. No way. When you get ads after every couple guesses, it’s anything BUT relaxing. I can pay to get rid of the ads, but I’d rather just find another app. Thanks, but no thanks.

There was a recent update and the blue color on the words when you are at higher accuracy changed color to a weird murky green and idk why it bothers me so much😭😭 Besides that i love this game

I don’t have much to say. Honestly, the game is amazing because it gives you the option to have an ad. But unlike other games, they don’t force you to watch ads. In conclusion, this game is very great. (ps recommend download)

I love this game, I play it everyday actually but… the AI tends to give very low scores for MY answers that are significantly close my answers. PLEASE FIX IT. Don’t make me come back here !!!!!!!

Contexto is fun and good. The words are intuitive, you have to think outside the box sometimes, and it challenges you turn around your approach to what you know.

wayyy to many adds. i could only get about 6 guesses in before another add popped up. it was so repetitive to the point i just deleted the game.

Ads are very inappropriate for a +4 app (I’m 12). I have been clicking “stop seeing ad, and giving the reason” but each time a similar app pops up👎👎👎 Big L

It’s not a great game in that most people(myself included) expect to have the rules/mechanics of a game given to them when they start it. But there is a little bit of fun to be had for a lot of the reasons people don’t like this game. The associations between words don’t make a whole ton of sense intuitively, so the fun I’ve been able to have is in trying to figure out/predict what the games sense of logic/association is. Definitely not fun in the traditional sense, more just frustrating in an o

It’s a good game in theory but needs some work. For example, I guessed the word “road” and it had a relevancy score in the 1000s. The word ended up being car. I was annoyed. The game doesn’t seem to always recognize words that a regular person would associate with the end word.

Ad’s are a part of life so I won’t complain about it, but for $2.99 to have them gone forever, super easy choice. Don’t mind putting that on my credit card for the month haha. Very happy with how stable the actual app is. Not glitchy, and not always giving pop ups for buying more IGC. Gifts every few levels is also very pleasant! All in all, 5 stars without ads! With ads, still probably at least 4.5.

I think it is great game because it gets you thinking and in a good way sometimes me and my family are sitting on the couch and I pull up the game and ask for help

I play a lot of word games, and this one actually surprised me with a simple yet unique concept

The game is great and was so fun for awhile but now i’m getting so many repeat words that i can figure most out in like 10 guesses

I really like this game. It’s a lot of fun and so addictive. But there are SO. MANY. ADS. It’s more than any other game I’ve played. It’s really irritating and the ads are so long. I ended up deleting the app.
