The app performs as advertised, but sometimes lists the same speaker twice.

I don't usually bother to leave reviews, but in this case the reviews in seeing are very negative and don't match my experience. I've wanted a sleep timer and alarm on my SoundTouch systems for ages, and have been frustrated that Bose isn't delivering. This app provides that missing functionality! A very important app as you can add SoundTouch devices via IP! Which allows you to control your devices remotely over VPN. A must have.

The developer is very helpful if you have connection issues like I did. Once I applied his fix all has been well. This is a much more reliable app than the one made by Bose. Bose really needs to listen to customer complaints. If it wasn’t for this app my SA-5 SoundTouch would be a $500 paper weight.

I was reluctant to buy this at first, because of the amount of bad reviews. The fact that Bose seems unlikely to provide native support for an alarm function made me was frustrating enough to give it a go. For a $500 device Bose should be ashamed that they did not provide basic functions like sleep timer and alarm wake up. This app provides them effectively and they work albeit with a slightly cumbersome interface. It also allows preset switching and volume change. It is worth the price. Only complaint is the lack of instructions. It is fairly intuitive but I can't figure out what the check box does. This is an essential addition.
