Endless sign-ins required

The pointless race to update the app every week leads to the app requiring a pointlessly convoluted new sign-in every other time you try to use it. Endless updates is nothing but a way to game the recommendation algorithms. A grown-up would immediately realize this is not needed for an app with a captive audience. So ... grow up?
