Copterus #1 Autopilot for DJI App Reviews

I just wanted to drop a review…I professionally map with UAS’ for a living, and whenever one of our systems go down, or for whatever reason we can’t use our primary softwares or aircraft, CopterUs has always been a 100% reliable platform to get the job done in a pinch with a Mavic Air 2. Not an ideal mapping aircraft at all, but products are nearly indistinguishable because CopterUs helped us through the issue at hand.

This program for air2s is full of bugs, even when it moves to the first waypoint, the movement of the drone is abnormal with vibration and speed, both during turns and after canceling the mission, it does not give the control of the drone to the user, and the drone stays in place. Stop to request to return home from within the program itself.

Great set of features, easy to use, get the job done(and no subscription model)!! (Mavic 2 pro)

I use Copterus with my DJI Mavic 2 Pro. I researched a lot of apps, but no app came close to what Copterus could do without being incredibly expensive and/or requiring a subscription. The interface is straightforward and has the flexiblity to plan whatever mission you want (I was mapping vertical rock outcrops using a "facade" approach with customized waypoints). Highly recommend!

This app is awesome, creates perfect maps, very customizable. Great app for use with Webodm.

I’m impressed. Intuitive interface. Easy to program. Has all the notam warnings, even abroad.

I used thing with ArcGIS and my Mavic Air 2 for mapping on a daily basis. It makes great mapping mosaics once you learn how to get your boundaries right. The one bug I have found is that it only allows for one battery change stop within a single flight plan. If you have to do more that one, you basically have to bring the flight plan back in fresh then clip it down to where you left off from the second battery. If this was fixed, I’d give it all 5 stars. This app is packed with features, and can’t wait to use with my Mavic Air 2 S if there becomes an update available later down the pipeline. Have several others I know waiting to get this app as well and are just waiting it out until it supports the A2S. Hope it will be possible! This app rocks!

Is there new updates and compatible firmware for mavic AIR 2S?

Purchased app and found that the newer Air 2S is not supported. Kind of bummed, but I get that it is a pretty new drone. Looking forward to an update!
