This game provides an excellent way to learn cribbage, and play solo games. The premise of playing against a grandpa at first felt a little odd, but actually gives the game a fun personality

I’ve played this game more than any other on my phone. Cozy, clean, a great way to learn the game or keep up your crib chops. Full of delightful details and seasonal easter eggs (especially lovely to play during christmas!)

Finally a friendly Cribbage game with a scoring coach patterned after someone I loved. Can adjust speed for slow readers and slow scorers. Super helpful. Great idea.

I grew up playing pool and cribbage with my family, moody notably my grandpa. He died over 20 years ago and I miss him a lot, but I get to recreate that in some small way with this app.

Enjoyable game

The banter is repetitive and boring. If the developer replaced it with an AI large language model, it could be a lot more creative and entertaining.

I don’t for a minute believe that the game plays with randomized card deals. The grandpa has constant 15+ pt hands while I draw garbage every turn. 5 stars

I generally don’t have the patience to play games on my phone, this is the only one. I really like the premise (playing with your “Grandpa”) and appreciate it’s simplicity and it’s lack of micro transactions, in-app purchases and leaky/questionable privacy policies. I’m not sure if it’s still in active development, but I’m glad I can keep my cribbage chops up regardless.

I love to play with my family and my dad is easily one of the most hilarious to play with. This game is awesome to where I feel like I’m playing with dad. I have even one a few times!

The play style and feel of this game are incredible and exactly what I’ve been hoping for in a cribbage app. This game is a good cribbage experience while also being so sweet and wholesome. I immediately designed my first in game grandpa to be just like my real life grandpa who died less than a year ago. We loved playing cribbage together and he would’ve gotten a real kick out of this app. Thank you creators for a great game and a sweet reminder.

Can you add stats at the end of the match for where points were scored? Your hand vs crib, vs pegs?

Love this game! It’s so cute and the cribbage play is great. The game taught me cribbage and it’s my go-to idle game.

I have played a lot of cribbage apps and the ads have ruined the experience or the no adds cost was high. Or the user experience was poor. This is fun, has an awesome user experience, and the game play is solid. (Disregard some of the complaints from users looking for tournament equivalent play.) This is that only cribbage game that brings me back to its roots. Getting your butt kicked at cards. It’s also the only one where you do your own scoring, which is an integral part of the experience, along muggins. Just about every other app uses auto scoring, and that’s missing the point.

If you are a cribbage fan and are looking for something simple and engaging, this is the one. By far my favorite cribbage app.

Neither of my grandpas are living, so seeing my grandpa’s name as my opponent brings a nostalgic smile to my lips. I like being able to count my hand so I’m not just clicking through it all. It keeps my counting sharp. No ads, and does exactly what it says. I think it’s an excellent choice for a cribbage fan!

I am not a big mobile gamer, but I wanted to get more proficient at Cribbage after picking it up with family in real life. This has been a great way to learn to rules, learn strategy, and make sure you are catching all your points before you peg. The graphics are charming and the theme is great.

I’ve had this game for a while, so I forgot how much it costs, but it’s worth it! The game doesn’t count for you outside of the tutorial, it allows you to try and remember the rules yourself, and you can set grandpa to helpful in order to catch any points you missed. I got the same exact hand three times in a row last night. This is a sign of underlying flaws in the technology, since the odds of this happening are like 1 in a trillion. Same hands twice in a row are pretty much impossible but it’s happened several times. The grandpas are fun - please fix your technology

I feel like after one of the most recent updates the game now gives grand pa way better hands than I get with greater frequency. Previously I had a 2:1 win ratio over grand pa, but he’s about to overtake me. He’ll score 19+ Points on a hand at least once a game where as the most I can score is about 12 as my best hand for each game. Hard to beat that.

I was 16 when my Papa passed. Probably 10 when he tried to teach me cribbage. It was too confusing for me at the time. When I learned to love cribbage in young adulthood, I couldn’t shake the guilt over never playing with Papa. Then I found this game. This is a phenomenal way of learning/keeping up with cribbage. It’s sweet and cute and fun while keeping the gameplay simple and practical.

No commercials, flashing icons, and grandpa is customizable. Only thing I’d love to see, to help me get better at counting, Is ability to turn off the autocount feature.

This app is wonderful. It’s got cute grandpa’s that are 100% customizable from looks to skill level to jokes. It’s got wonderful music. It’s got a variety of backgrounds. And most importantly, it teaches you how to play cribbage very quickly and continues to teach you as you play your grandpas.

I’m addicted to this game! It’s really well designed and easy to understand. Plus scoring your own cards is a really seamless process. Plays just like real cribbage in person!

Inconsistent play with level balancing. From difficulty 3 and under there is no challenge. Anything over 4 is impossible and it’s not related to skill. Bad AI.
