The scanner never seems to work because the image is always blurry. The camera never focuses on the barcode. The app could use some fixes like making it more user friendly

Great app, super helpful to be able to see which products are cruelty free. I love how the app lets me contact cruel companies directly.

Can’t reset password, can’t provide feedback in the app - whenever I try to do either one after filling out all required fields it’s “Email, account Id, or password is empty.” When I go to scan anything the screen turns black. I love this but can a developer pls write a review because it said that toms of maine toothpaste is not cruelty free even though it is leaping bunny certified? This app works well to easily verify if a company has a cruelty free policy (scans quickly too)! Would you consider adding food products to your database?

How much is this app?

None of these apps gives suggestions on alternatives to the product you’re scanning or have a list of let’s say toothpaste that are cruelty free. I suggest using a search based on what type of product we are looking for.

so basically i scanned a lot of stuff and it said that it was cruelty free and i was very surprised and it helps so much when i’m shopping! but i scanned my Secret deodorant and it says it’s not cruelty free but it is verified by PETA! same with covergirl, sauve, and maui! please update your things because they are either peta or leaping bunny verified!!

I love using this app when I go shopping, made it easy to find cruelty free options of what I need. Only reason I docked a star is because you need a login and password to utilize it.

I like what this app stands for and the content. The interface could use sprucing up, but my biggest qualm is with the camera. My camera works perfectly outside of this app, but when I try to scan something it looks like the camera of a 2007 flip phone, and I have an iPhone 14. Hopefully something can be updated to make the resolution better. I would like to use this app way more but the camera does not pick up what I try to scan.

So I was out shopping and I was using this app and it said that some products that were labeled cruelty free the app said they weren’t also said some were cruelty free I went to google it to find out they weren’t hopefully you guys get this fixed because I really think it’s a great idea

I’m trying to go cruelty free so I downloaded this app. However, a product by Paul Mitchell that has the cruelty free emblem in the label was marked as not cruelty free in the app. I then searched the app for Paul Mitchell and it said that the company is cruelty free.

Hello I have a dove product and I looks at the back and it said: Cruelty free! PETA- And then I scanned it and it said it wasn’t pls fix this!

I love the idea of this app! I think it is executed perfectly but I hate how slow it is. It’ll reboot and lag an unusual amount of times.

If you want to do cruelty free shopping, this app is essential. I use it at grocery stores or pharmacies every time I go.

This app has been working great for me. A quick easy way to know what you are buying.

The camera doesn't focus. Have a hard time getting it to work on some smaller bar codes. Have tried on both my 6S and iPad Pro.

But I gave it a 5 because I love the idea and wanted to thank you for it. The problem is that I don’t buy retail a lot to scan a barcode. I was hoping it would let me enter a product name and tell me the status to facilitate online shopping.

I've loved this app since I downloaded it a year ago. I've never had a problem with it and can't get over that you can literally scan ANY barcode and it will tell you if it's cruelty free or not.

I put all the bad brands in the crash. I was surprised that dawn and windex were non free animal cruelty.

this app works great! I’ve become more conscientious about purchasing cruelty free products and this app is easy to use. You just scan the barcode and it quickly tells you if they test on animals or not. I always recommend this to my friends!!
