However, the controls should be more precise for this type of a game. Also, for better or worse, there should be an option to go full screen.

Loving this. Fun, retro, well-designed, except for this set of controls, which have me considering deleting from my phone. The enjoyment I see in it has not translated well to my experience, which is stuttering fingers and loss of hearts faster than I can get them. Five stars when/if fixed.

I was overjoyed when I found this in the App Store. I built a small arcade cabinet just for the original Maldita Castilla. This has made my day!

Love it on Apple TV...super arcade, controller run n gun. One of the many great games I discovered through AppRaven community. Excellent combat nuances, appropriate complexity, and replayability, lore, and difficulty. Just right. Love the Codexes that let you ‘discover’ more about this little Cursed world as you play through it.

Ghouls n Ghosts is one of my favorite games of all time.....you know what? This is a lot better.

I really love the retro feel of this game, please add scanlines option to make it feel like the arcade!

I love GaG, I was looking for a clone and I found this. The concept is GaG but it also different and fun.

Unless you’re a five year old with baby hands, this game is impossible to play. The control button is horrible. Why did you make it so small???
