How many animals are in this game?

I love this game a lot but I remember I got on level 45 and I had more than 10 slots empty and it said I had full animals. It could have been my phone or a glitch but I would like to point this out.

After a while I was not able to upgrade animals I still want to play the game

The paw does not work for some reason.

Don’t know if it pays but I do know they removed some of the features in game. They need to be fixed asap!
