Damus is far and away the best NOSTR client available any platform. It was even better a few versions ago when you could ZAP btc/sats to people. But Apple just couldn’t stand that someone was doing something truly innovative if they weren’t getting a 30% cut of the action. If there was a way to rate the Apple App Store I’d give it a big fat zero.

The blue bird is dead. No algos here. It truly is freedom of speech.

This app is just good. It does everything you need, nothing you don’t. A shout out to the development team here for making something great; and giving this game changing protocol the start on mobile that it deserves.

That’s my biggest issue with it. Other than that, it’s a good time.

The web site says: "available Now on iOS, iPad and macOS" but some features do not work on Mac OS (like posting photos).

I think this is the future of social media. Content u own. U can get paid directly from followers-no banks or governments involved. No censoring

What could be better? A place where you can send sats to folks and creators but there is no “big brother is watching you” over there.

Seek out real people based on your actual interests, not what some algorithm is telling you to be mad about. Decentralized and open source will always win.

It would be a tragedy if Apple took this off the app store. Might be time to go back to android.

Dear Apple team, please do not remove this app. Removing this app would be short-sighted and would potentially cause me to both stop using Apple products and wold result in me cautioning others against using Apple products. This app is excellent and has the potential to be a part of a significant amount of future progress.

I hope Apple will allow innovation on its platform like the Zap feature to tip content creators with small instant payments of Bitcoin over Lightning Network.

Can’t believe  wants to remove this, so annoying!

I can say that after using the app for a couple of days it has an interesting twist to regular social media apps. It’s worth giving it a try and if you do end up creating an account and start using it, you can follow me @thestreets

This app is 200 times better than Twitter.

The UI/UX is great and no fear of centralized authority shutting me down.

There are so many ways to enjoy this app. It’s just a wonderful piece of software.

the things the internet is capable of is endless! Quick transactions zapping people across the globe without the approval of a bank is mindblowing

NOSTR’s decentralized/distributed universal standard for social media & online communication. Of the Nostr apps, Damus is the best one I have used thus far. Slight learning curve & so much to improve on. But, this is the future. The tech communication & financial network oligopoly is destined for failure by way of isolation censorship / flawed incentives.
