That's what these apps say to me, they're that good, and I'd know, I've got 20+ guitar apps on my iPhone. Me. Mead feeds you knowledge, then ensures you know how to use it, in a way that's actually fun, I got the Chord Coach also, sand it's as good as this app! Perfect for beginners, intermediate players will learn too. Can't recommend this app enough. Know the whys, not just the hows!!!
This is the only and the best application for learning the CAGED system AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW COME PEOPLE IS GIVING A BAD REVIEW TO A SUCH A GREAT WELL DONE JOB!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really love this app!! Thanks!!
It's okay. Lessons are really basic. Timers are a little off in the exercises. Also, it does not support landscape mode, only portrait. Hummm.... Even though I wrote a review, it bugs me to write a review, even if I say no thanks....
Fantastic app. Rich with content. You can spend hours with it it. Well thought out. Any chance of a triad app next?
It's been amazing in helping find root notes over the entire neck of the guitar.
Could use minor chords
The body of material here is very good and explains a lot about the CAGED system. The beauty of the app comes through for me in the quizzes. Practicing these will help you know you fingerboard and chords so much better!
I have been really impressed with this app. Using it with patience, persistence, and practice will make you a real guitar player.
Don't let the older design style fool you -- this app is the most effective way to learn the fretboard hands-down. David Mead truly understands the brain's learning process. I recommend getting this in combo with JustinGuitar's Note Trainer app, and David Mead's own Guitar Gym app.
I am enjoying the app - especially finding the nicely-worded explanations and slow ramping-up of the intensity of the exercises very helpful.
If the guitarist makes a consistent commitment, this app will produce the results. This is a great way to learn elements of music theory as it applies to the guitar.
Feels like a lift from the guitar program called Fretboard Logic by Bill Edwards. I can believe all the pentatonics and minor chords were ignored on this app. Save your money.
