Dispo: Retro Disposable Camera App Reviews

I LOVE this app so much, I’ve been using it for almost 5 years now and even have on Instagram for it (@disposbykej if you wanna follow lol) but lately the camera has been just freezing and I can’t change the filter or even take a picture… UPDATE: it stopped freezing and crashing! I do wish they’d come out with more cams/filters though, like a digital camera filter would be cool

let me start by saying i absolutely love this app. it has been my go-to for about 3 years now for nights out and capturing fun events and friends. for the past week or so, i’ve been having issues with the app being glitchy and crashing, and right now i can’t even access my photos without it freezing up my entire phone. i am really nervous about losing the pictures as there are priceless memories in there, so i am hoping this gets fixed soon. thank you!

I had to delete and reinstall the app but now my account is logged out. I know my handle but there isn’t an option to reset my password. An app should provide this for every account?

I actually downloaded this app when it came out, so I’ve had it for all three years of my high school career lol. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It gives the perfect filter and it feels really cool. It lets you take pictures and makes you wait till the morning so you can enjoy the moment 10/10 I’ve never felt such love for an app

Love this app for creating vintage looking photos. However, all my pictures that I took in Europe this summer are gone :( I probably had over 300 pictures that disappeared. I have no idea how or why and can’t figure out how to recover them. Hoping the Dispo team can help me recover them so I can give 5 stars

Me and my friends love using dispo when we go out on the weekends and checking our shared roll in the morning. The only annoying part is that when I go to look at the photos the following day, from the grid view I can see all of our photos but when I click on them the app zooms in on the photo and I cannot zoom out, this only happens for like 60% of the photos. This is really annoying especially when I just want to swipe through for good ones and I cannot because I cannot see the full pictures d

I love to use this app for all of my vacation photos! I love how they come out and the way they can mimic real disposable photos. Not to mention the aspect that the pictures do not show up until the next morning, it give something so fun to look forward too. I ALWAYS recommend this app to all of my friends. I love Dispo so much because the quality of the pictures is just like a disposable camera. Every picture I take with Dispo is so special and high quality. Plus you can share it with friends.

The app won't let me save any of the pictures so I have to screenshot every pic and crop if I want to save it...would this be able to be fixed?

I love the concept of the app and not being able to see pics until the next morning. I usually take a lot more photos because i’m unsure how they will turn out but I like to have options. My friends always enjoy getting to see the outcome the next day and it just makes it 10x more fun to relive the memories. However, i’ve been having an issue with some of the pics not loading. A good half of the pics wouldn’t load all day, and now I am on the second day and still a few of them will not show. I f

i love this app and all the features! one thing that would definitely improve it is if there was an option/camera that allowed the MM/DD/YY in the bottom corner of the picture

I have used this app to take pictures of my friends and i out during my years in college. It is the best to view the pictures in the morning and see the faces on your friends when you share them. This app bring good vibes and makes lots of smiles!!

I love this app, but the bugs are really bad right now. I cannot even get on the app, even after the recent updates. I cannot take a picture, or look at my camera roll without the app crashing after 10-20 seconds. Please help!

I love this app and I’ve had no complaints but recently it crashes every two seconds and I’m unable to save any of the pictures I’ve taken. I used it to take a bunch of birthday pictures and now I can’t access those memories :(

The app takes me out. I can only stay for 10sec. Then boom out.

Could you make the naughty and nice cameras an option to be used year round? I loved those and sad they are gone . Especially since I live up north and it snows all the time the pics would come out awesome .

I love this app and have been using it for a year now. But the new filter that is on the pictures just ruin them. it look so foggy and unrealistic. please change back so i can love dispo again

I really like the idea of taking a picture and having to wait the next day to see it lol. Pretty simple to use too

waiting till 9 am the following day for the photos to develop, but when I click on them they never load for me to view them! very frustrating

I think Dispo’s pretty dope, it definitely made the moments I captured look more nostalgic and interesting, the one thing I could wish for more of is a bigger variety of options for the free version

I’d recommend just a self timer, adding a grain cam, and a refreshed way to find public rolls. 10/10 definitely would recommend.

i truly love this app! I think it’s great they keep updating it and coming out with new filters! I just wish you had the option to change the filter after the photo is taken and developed :(

ever since the last update i haven’t been able to take any pics. the camera never loads and i assume it’s because you added new filters. i don’t want new filters, i just want a reliable camera that gives me consistent low quality photos.

I keep refreshing after I add to a roll and the new filter is still locked very confused

i love this app but when i updated it last time there was an update it deleted all the previous photos i had and they were hilarious and i didn’t save them

the ideas of this app are great!! what would make it great is if it actually worked. the app is so f-ing buggy. if the rolls worked and it was easy for friends to join it would make this app perfect but unfortunately it’s not quite there.
