Daygram : My Secret Diary App Reviews

I like it because it doesn’t have ads, or break your privacy by forcing an invasive cloud backup (there is none), you can easily speak to type, and it has a passcode option. But it’s a little too basic for me (by design really), and when you click on the link for support it goes to a broken website. I also wonder how easily I’ll get my entries off when I want to back them up. Overall I’m happy with it, though I wish I had more ways to markup my text.

I absolutely love Daygram! It’s one of the most peaceful and beautiful diary apps out there — I write in it every day. The e-ink design is just perfect. I do wish there were a few more features, like exporting entries as images and having more font options. But overall, it’s an amazing app that I’ll keep using for a long time. ❤️

I dig it. Fairly basic but not too basic. Simple to get up and running, no ridiculous learning curve. May not be as feature rich as others, but it’s got most of the essentials for me. Reading through the reviews on here, and I must say, been using this little app for roughly a decade now and never experienced any issues. So idk what to make of that. Nevertheless, great app!

Everything about this app is perfect for me. Writing one line a day is a really great idea for someone getting into journaling, I wish I learned about this app sooner. it's minimal, simple and organized & I love that even using free there were no ads or a subscription being shoved in my face. Premium is affordable, one-time purchase and comes with all sorts of extra features. plssss give this app a try if you want to journal <3

The biggest feature of this diary is that you can also log your past diaries the next day. You can also log what happened a few days ago. So it's great. It's great to be able to log your past diaries that you forgot about. Also, the second feature is that it all syncs up on your iPhone iPad Mac. It's working well with updates these days. And finally, it's very simple. So it's great.

I love this app more than any other like it. I have been using it for 8 years! The developer will address all issues frequently. Having said that, there is a new thing that is a problem. When you convert to PDF, it shows up in my books very light. You almost can’t see the text. Please fix this. I save my log every so often to keep it somewhere else and for printing. Thank you so much!

Uncomplicated way to keep a bit for each day.

It's exactly what I was looking for. No fancy bells and whistles, just a simple diary. I just wish the menu/toolbar faded into the background like in the photo previews. On dark mode it's such a contrast from the simple clean aesthetic. Also, a menu bar shortcut would help provide easy access. But overall, it's a great app and well worth the price.

This is my favorite journal app. I use it religiously everyday for the last few years. Please update this app with a black night mode! I’m always wiring very late into the night and am blinded by this journal… Would love for it to auto add locations and weather…and an option to add photos !

Please please in the thumbnail bar view can we have an option to display photos in color instead of black and white? Really appreciate!!

I really love this app and how simple it is, however I really do want an easier, robust way for the files to be transferred from my laptop to the phone and vice versa. Even with the backup and sync option, the journals are unfortunately not synced. I hope this problem can be solved asap. Thank you for making this app!

Export only so for yearly or as a whole, that’s too much for review and not so convenient. Also, can the picture be colorful? Don’t know why they have to be black and white. ; (

I have been writing about this problem for some time now. I have been using this app for years (since 2018). It crashes every single time I try to do a search. Certain letter combinations will crash it when searching. There are only a few that won’t. It was updated 3 weeks ago but it isn’t fixed. It crashes on my iPhone 13 Pro. I tried it on my old iPad and it does the same thing so I know it’s not the new phone. I NEED this function because I use this ALL THE TIME! Are you seeing this review? P

DayGram has all of the features I need right now to keep me on track with my daybook. I usually journal in a physical book in the evening and DayGram helps me make short entries. I’ve found that I’ve been using it more often than my physical daybook since I have access to it all day long. Its user interface is beautiful and clean; it’s a joy to use.

Privacy is a big plus, as is the seamless synch across iCloud. One suggestion: Font Size 1 through 5. Please make 5 much bigger. On a high res screen it's a challenge for this almost 70 year old. Nice work!

I’d been using daygram since 2015. Not on daily basis but I still have some stuff from back then. I think is a very simple daily log diary app that can be trusted. I also have it on my iPad as well.

DayGram is still my favorite digital journal. Sadly it will no longer sync between devices via iCloud.

Good bargain to get one dot diary with Dropbox sync and maybe iCloud sync works too I’m not sure. Anyway right now is perfect and I use my photo of comic sky and cloud and border E, just matching so perfectly.

some text & date at the top gets obscured by the iphone’s notch. bottom controls also should be moved up a little so as not to interfere with the swipe up for home bar.

I still have a lifetime licence from other popular blue diary app, but I still find myself gravitating to this one. I like that the developer does not collect data unlike many of the other diary apps. I really enjoy the simplicyt

I love this app to my heart, simple and beautiful. However, I use both my phone and iPad to write dairies. The sync through iCloud can be improved, so that it will sync automatically every time I wrote something.

You can search multiple words and add pictures, love this app, makes great gift for others! I hope they keep updating it for the future!

Auto-sync and desktop support plsssss

I have been downloading and trying to use various journaling apps and this is the only one I have consistently used. The design is simple and beautiful. It makes journaling effortless. I love it.

The only thing I would change is that I'd add bigger font options now that they've made the app universal. The print is tiny now, even at the largest settings.

It crashing when I try to export to pdfie. Despite that it is very good app.

Simple minimalist interface makes it easy to write down the day's happenings without any fuss. The little features like reminders, export to PDF, and adding a photo to your entry are a nice touch as well.

I use this app every day to remember the entire day and make sure it’s not forgotten. The style of the app is really excellent and this is the best journal app on the AppStore.

When I'm done editing and press done button, it does not take me to the list view. Ohh! So to go back to list view, you need to tap the almost invisible little square at the bottom! You should definitely put this in the how-to!

The controls, that is! This makes using more difficult then it needs to be. As a new user so far I like.

But still some suggestion. Pictures. Hope that multiple pics available. PDF. How about for a certain day and keep the layout of the app? I do want to share but if just plain pdf document, no.

I made one entry, now I cant open the app. Keeps crashing

It’s too annoying to switch between days...adding a swipe option would be great. I don’t have time to mess with difficult interface, though, so I deleted it. It’s a bit like a 60 year old designed it...
