DAZE CAM - Vintage Film Camera App Reviews

Almost half my pictures are suddenly blank. After restarting the app and even my phone they still won’t show as anything other than i grey screen. When I click on the “picture” it exits me out of the all same for when I click edit. I’m really bummed cause I got some really good pictures I now can’t access. I don’t want to give the app less than 3 stars though because I really think once that’s fixed this app COULD be phenomenal. But to be clear it’s currently not so phenomenal. Please fix this a

For some reason the photos I import to develop don’t retain the meta data of the date taken so the wind up being saved to todays date. Not really a fan of that.

All, If you previously purchased the subscription for $6-7 dollars for lifetime access, hit RESTORE PURCHASES and it will reinstate your access at no extra cost. Hope this helps!

I love this camera app, was looking for something minimalist to snap photos and not have to add the disposable film filter afterwards. I’d love to see two features added: 1. Geotagging photos please! I want these to appear in my photo places. 2. Option to save to camera roll automatically. I save every photo I take manually atm and its annoying. Thanks for your work!

I literally love this app I was planning on getting polaroid camera, but they’re just too expensive so I looked on the App Store and found this app and it is literally amazing the only problem is that if you have camera roll pictures, you can only use three of them and then you’re done but other than that this app is amazing and it gives off real polaroid old fashion vibes if you want cute pictures!

This app is fantastic but is there a way to retrieve accidentally deleted photos? I pressed the wrong button like an idiot and now I can’t find how to get them back.

I bought this app when it was a one time purchase fee. The app was completely worth it. However, for new users who will be forced to use the subscription model, I cannot recommend this app. The developers got greedy and want to nickel and dime you every single month. Use Snapseed, which is a free app by Google that will do the same thing this app does. Save yourself some buckaroos.

Please bring back the glass effect!

The camera filters for free are super nice and enjoyable to play around with but something I think would be a good addition for free would be adding flash to front and back cameras so that pictures can capture the energy of certain pictures better

Great app, however $19.99 should at least get you the app for life!

Everyone needs this app! The fact that we can now toggle between the front and back camera and now have flash available is simply perfect! This is the only camera I use and need!

Hi! Is there a way I can recover deleted photos? I took some wonderful photos on Thanksgiving and when downloading them, I accidentally hit the wrong button. Please help!

this app is really good for what it does but i’ve been trying to edit photos and the app crashes after each picture i edit. very frustrating.

overall amazing app but the new update made the underdeveloped camera roll all out of order and everything

Hey! Please provide a way that we can sort and choose local images via Image Albums! In gallery view we don't have any way to sort our pics and the default sort is not even set to latest image!

The new update made the app worse Nd very limited. I enjoyed the old editing options, now you can only choose a filter. Guess im going back to VSCO

Amazing app but I wish it would allow you to have the option to do backflash when taking a photo for night time pictures

Love this app and camera but there’s no flash and you also can’t share directly from the app, you have to download every pic to send it to people

i just bought premium and it wont let me import photos. FIX YOUR APP ASAP!! so upset, i feel scammed. i thought the app was awesome, and i used it often so i bought premium. what a mistake.

I really love the Dazz camera and this gives me very similar vibes for my photos before I go into Lightroom. I really recommend this app but def look and practice with the 5 (I believe) free photos you do get so you can see.

I love how accurate the feel of the photos turn out. It’s the best app I’ve found that mimics the film look. It would be 5 stars if there was a feature that allowed to take flash photos in app.

get it it’s so worth it y can like edit and customize the leaks and color and it looks so real i love it

i would really recommend. i put 4 stars tho bc it is annoying to have to pay 2.99 to develop as many pictures from my camera roll as i want but it's understandable. other then that, i love it!!!!!!

Love this app— it’s one of the best I’ve tried for turning a digital image into what looks like a film scan or print. I’d really love to see an option to save my edits as a preset!

I like the app a lot but I wish there was a zoom feature and I wish the viewfinder was bigger because most times I can’t even see what I’m taking a picture of

There’s so many ways to adjust the settings and that’s just one reason why I love this app. It’s superior to any other film apps. Gives you four different development types and then you can customize and further adjust. It looks amazing

The app has some great filters but the user experience is terrible. It’s extremely slow, not intuitive, and there is a new problem that photos downloaded to photo library turn into blank black squares.
