dB Decibel Meter - sound level measurement tool App Reviews

I really like this app only problem I have is that I can't get it to toggle between the fast and slow mode. It would of gotten a 5th star if that worked. Still enjoy it and it let's me know just how loud my rock band plays.

I use this app for our once weekly band Jamboree at our campground in Florida to assist in keeping our sound at a reasonable level. Works great!

When it’s really quiet in the room like the lowest it will go is 27 I think that it wouldn’t be 0 but I think that it’s quieter than 27, and I live in the country. I think that it may have to do with the sounds that the phone makes plus the electricity that powers the speakers so you guys should try to fix that please if this problem is a problem.

Love it- all i want to make it better is the ability to timeline the spikes so I can coordinate with video I'm using to try to identify some really offensive noises. I love the explanations too- easy to understand.

This is a great app for explaining sound levels. It is straight forward very easy to use. I love this app.

I really love this app. I have Sound loss going back to when I was in high school and this is a lovely little check on where I should be and what I should do about it.

Use for the sound system at church Works great

Nice product for $2.00 but it needs a reset button or if you are measuring different volumes your measurements won’t be consistent.

Used for monitoring levels while mixing film and TV projects. Very consistent. I wish it had a peak hold, but that’s the worst I can say about it.

Just being curious so I downloaded the app. Awesome, I use it all the time just for fun.

I have 4 different decibel meter apps on my phone/iPad, and I’m sorry to say that this is the least favorite/least used of the lot. In my opinion the graphic design leaves a lot of ambiguity as to when the sound is soft, loud, or too loud. I don’t find this problem with the other apps.

very recently the app is no longer calibrated properly, tried reinstalling and looking for settings but cannot find a solution, purchased awhile ago; previously worked well

Doesn’t tell you anything about how to use it or how it works leaving you confused if it is doing what it was supposed to be doing and if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing to find out what what you want to find out! Quite confusing yeah…!!
