Deer Calls & Hunting Sounds App Reviews

My son showed me this app a few weeks ago during the black powder season here in Connecticut. It’s now Saturday, January 6, 2024, I have crop damage permits on an orchard. In 2023 I literally did not see any deer on this property. I think they were nocturnal and going after the acorns in the bigger woods… In any event this morning after sitting for two hours I decided to download this app. 10 minutes of the estrous doe bleat, every 30 seconds, and a buck walked in! I couldn’t be happier with

I Was sitting in my blind and could hear a buck in the trees but I didn’t have a call with me. I downloaded this app and started using it. I couldn’t hear the buck anymore so I was sitting reading reviews and using doe call 3 every 20 minutes with two burst each time. After my third time doing this I look up from reading the reviews and there’s a 10 point walking in front of me 40 yard out. Shot him right through the heart. Definitely download this app.

About 40min later 2 bucks came walking thru shot and got 8 pointer! using once every 5-15 min (mix it up) also threw in a couple fawn calls

Literally bought this sitting here and 20 minutes after I started using a small doe walked out. Got her. 45 minutes later a huge buck walked out. Got him also.

Great quality sounds. Worth the money already but wish there was more information about each call or a guide about all the types available and when they are typically used. For example, what types of calls to use to bring deer in or what ones to avoid in the pre rut, rut, post rut etc.

Well I can’t believe but I got a buck that walked passed me this morning by calling it back with this app. The app is simple to use and seems to work, what more could you want?

I wish all your apps had a trial version. I would like to see the what the other calling apps sound like before purchasing. I tried one the other day and had to pay right out of the gate and found it was nothing close to what I wanted. And now I am trying to get a refund for it. But I can’t wait to try this one out as it is close to the one I had on my android as far as calls go. They’re a couple rattling ones I would like to see added from the other app. That worked for me in the past, but not

10 out of 10, I called a couple of nice bucks in within 2 minutes of calling.

Hunters, add your location (i.e. my location is Southeast Alabama) when saying which specific call works best for you. Let’s help our fellow hunters out! I’ve had this app for 2 years now. The sounds are great! By far the best quality sounds for an iOS app. I haven’t honestly called anything directly to me yet but I’ve used it plenty of times while deer were in sight and the calls do not scare them at all. I got a kick out of the last review “can’t make this up” etc. same think happened with me. while hunting, got bored, was goofing around on the phone, found the app, read reviews and though I’ll try it. After It loaded I played the contact call and thought it sounded good. Didn’t realize it replays every 45 sec, so it went off a couple more times in my pocket. I thought there was a deer vocalizing, I turned it off and looked up to see a dandy deer walking Rt to me. - what the heck !!

Calls sound legit. Sitting in blind looking for deer calls on my phone and this had great reviews. Tried it out and works great

Was skeptical but decided to try it out anyway. Played Doe 1 call and no joke right away two smaller bucks came running right towards me from thicket. Haven’t tried it on a mature buck yet but still pretty cool. Worth the money!

Not sure if it’s luck but downloaded this app in the woods then used a few calls and a 7 point walked up

Doesn’t explain what different sounds mean need better explanation

Some of the best sounds I’ve heard on an app. My only suggestion would be that down at the bottom where it shows how long the intervals are that you add a countdown.

Really enjoyed it last year, I’m trying to find out if there’s a sequence calls available as if you don’t see any action in the field. Which calls should be made first?

Best deer calling app I’ve used

Loaded the app from my tree stand. Small buck came in on the doe bleat. I’m a believer!

First call I tried deer came running right out!

The app sounds great and sounds like it will attract some deer to my stand Area! I will try it today and I a couple of days I will write another review!

November 11, 2018 I used the doe bleat just for testing/videoing and had a buck show within 15 minutes. Nice app with a nice selection of sounds

Sounds are really good. Only thing lacking is some instructions on when to use the various calls. There is a long list to choose from and I think some guidance would help inexperienced hunters.

Works great. Doe #1 worked on four bucks this season.

Downloaded at 7:30 and had an 11point on the ground by 8:45. Probably just coincidence but I’m sold.

Sounds are really great however it only plays one time with my iPhone X’s max on lock then I have to open for it to play again. Also if possible, to include a snort wheeze would be cool.

Good sounds that I have seen work in the Whitetail world. Good job!

True sound and like the volume range

The sounds are ok, but I bought the app in hopes that it had a snort wheez, which is difficult to replicate. I wish I hadn’t spent the $5, but it might work for you if you’re not proficient with handhelds. I think handhelds sound better.

I downloaded it and when I opened it the “Is this legal in your state” thing came up and I googled my state to see and turns out NO it’s not legal in my state so is there a way I can get a refund?

Sounds really good but it would be nice to have a favorites option so I can remember which of the sounds I like to use.

I was skeptical about this app, but it works great. This is a must have app. Git er done.

Sounds great but the timer, while trying to set it lets out calls.. you can’t adjust the time, without it sending out random calls from behind it.. but sounds are great, just app organization needs attention.
