Interesting concept that combines slay the spire type gameplay with monster train. However, the deck building lacks depth and creativity. Certain classes allude to the possibilities of synergy, but the synergy is never realized as the card choices offer too many different mechanics and not enough cards to build on any of those mechanics.

Deliverance is a good start, and there are 6 classes that play differently. It could use more cards and attention, but I like the mechanic of being able to play all cards in your hand without energy costs. Regin is just a Monster Train clone. It has the same basic classes, mechanics, and enemies. But it lacks the original’s ability to pick a second class, so that’s disappointing. It drags down the overall score if you ask me.

I’m enjoying the game so far wish they had more ways to spend coins and the cards were bigger because the text is small but overall very fun, similar to slay the spire.
