Please add car support

Love the app and the ability to track our child’s numbers. Our one complaint is that you can’t display their current reading or their graph on Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. That would really be helpful on long road trips.

Update Needed

Is there an update that is needed to help prevent loosing connection to the G7 app? Last update to this app shows 1 year ago. G7 app always shows reporting but the follow app doesn’t always connect.

Live the app but…

Can you add an option to override silent mode on the phone? Phone is on silent at night but need the important notifications!

Great when it works

This has gave me so much peace of mind with my dads sugars when it works. It’s again not working and will not even open on my phone.

Requires uninstall and reinstall with iPhone 15

Mostly just FYI - just upgraded my phone from a 12 to a 15 and this app does not run on the 15 without a complete uninstall and reinstall (at least for me). Without the aforementioned actions, the app just crashes and closes 2 seconds after I click the icon. Was able to get it to work, but required a new invite from person I follow. The fact that this app exists is a miracle and gives peace of mind to not only my T1 bestie and me, but to her family who are all the way on the other side of the co

The was great but…

The app has worked perfect for years but the past week I have not had any data on the follow app despite uninstalling and reinstalling several times. My son’s dexcom app has also stopped working several times and he has also had to uninstall and reinstall his app. We’ve had him go back to finger sticks just to make sure we know what his blood sugar reading is in case the apps fail again. I wished they’d fix whatever this glitch is so it will be a reliable app once again.

Missing marketed functions

It shows the latest updated number, but fails to provide historical data with no graph.

One major bug

Dexcom has been a godsend for my wife and the Follow app allows me to check her levels. However, the alert for high or low blood sugar rarely sounds — ditto for her Clarity app — and that’s a real problem as my wife is deaf and I need to be able to hear it, especially overnight.

Needs a mute button

The app design encourages turning off alarms during events to silence alerts while the patient recovers. Alarms may not get turned back on. As an app user I need to mute alarms for 30 minutes.

LibreLinkUp a little cleaner

Not bad, but libre a little cleaner follow app, easier to track trends and stuff

Follow won’t run on new ios18 and iPhone 16

Also won’t run in landscape mode on apple ipad

*No Data*

For the past several weeks, in the middle of the night our follow app STOPS working so we have missed several life threatening lows for our daughter!! I’ve considered moving her into my room so that I can hear when her alarms go off! We have updated the apps and our phones and it still happens every night! Please fix this!!

Alerts

Can you please enable Critical Alerts? Apple limits alerts based on device or what you’re doing - in order to limit distractions. So I, for example, don’t get alerts thru CarPlay. But…. I would get them if you enabled critical alerts. Right now you’ve got Time Sensitive available. That helps. But we’ve got to use Sugarmate to alerts while driving.

Dexcom G7

I love the idea that I can monitor my wife’s blood glucose from anywhere, at anytime, whether I am close to her or miles away. The reason I am giving this app 2 stars is because regardless of mine or her settings, I have NEVER received a critical alert, and there have been several instances where her glucose dropped below 55 and thankfully she was sitting right beside me when she got the notification on her phone that it had dropped that low. Please fix this!

Apple Watch app doesn’t really work…

The follow app doesn’t seem to be getting much love lately. The iPhone version has occasional bugs and lags. –which are annoying, but the real problems rest with the Apple Watch version that suffers from numerous display and sync issues. At this point it’s not really functional and even though the issues have long been reported to Dexcom (please don’t tell me to contact Support again… I spent way too many hours of my time with them with no follow up) nothing has ever been fixed.

Never alerts me

My daughter is 4 so this app gives me major peace of mind when I'm not with her being able to monitor her blood sugars. BUT the follow app never goes off on my phone, even when on loud I never get a notification or tone or anything.

Notifications

Really wish this app had consistent notifications, it’s a 50/50 chance of being notified of lows.

Shows the data, but notifications are annoying

My mom has been hospitalized multiple times because of blood sugar issues, so I appreciate being able to see and be notified when her blood sugar is out of range, but I’ve set the notifications to not repeat and they still will alert every 5 minutes when it gets a new reading. I just need to know once until it resolves. That’s enough for me to call my mom and make sure she’s taking care of it. I don’t need to get 10 notifications while her insulin is taking time to respond. Can you please make t

Needs more dependent care data and alerting

As a parent of a T1D child, I need to see and be able to do everything they can in the G7 app. Alerting also needs some love. I need to have more alarming options like “alarm until I cancel” settings for nighttime hypo. One beep every 30 minutes during a low doesn’t help. I’d like to see the BG number and trend in my watch complication too.
