You want an old fashioned rotaty dialer? well you got it. Real nice. can't go wrong for 99 cents.

Only one suggestion, a contacts option would be nice to have.

This app does what it says: Gives you the old school sound and feeling as I remember in the 50's-60's. and those party lines they were connected in the community. Thank you for giving me the old-school feeling in the Stalgia about home.

The looks of confused scouts trying to figure out how to use a rotary dial is well worth the price.

In the 1960s I used to work on dial telephone switching equipment - the infamous Strowger switches. I like to demonstrate Dial Plate, and comment that I have an antique smart phone.

The app does what I hoped!It is great to have a phone again! I also want to answer a question I saw regarding this app. He was unhappy there was no contact list. What you do is get a piece of string and tie it to your phone then you attach your contact list Ma Bell makes contact lists they are called phonebooks. I actually came on to get help. I really like the dial size, nice and compact. The numbers do not dial as smoothly or as accurately all of the time but that is infrequent. Overall, a fun little app to enjoy and I use it when I can remember someone’s telephone number (which is a skill less needed when having a mobile today!)

The animation is great and so is the privacy policy but there is no sound on iPhone 8

Clearly the app developer for this dialer has never used dial phones in the wild. What annoys me most, is when you dial zero it doesn’t rotate back like it should. It just pops back to its position. No dial phone in the world ever did this. I grew up in rural Kansas, and have used everything from the first dial phones, and everything you can imagine including switchboard dials with patch cords, up to the last dial phones made by Ma Bell.
