Lots of fun MLB content and ways to get better!
The mix of challenges, games, and lessons built around MLB are a blast.
Got my son excited to practice!
It’s sometimes tough to convince my son to get a few swing reps in throughout the week, but the SwingTracker and app have made that job at least a little easier! He’s been enjoying the MLB home run highlights that the app shows and then heads to the tee to try and recreate with the Home Run derby game. He’s checked out a few of the lessons as well, they’re pretty solid and are a good fill in between team practices. Anything that gets my son in the mood to practice is a win in my book!
My kids love it
I set up a net and a tee and sent my kids outside with the sensor and the app. Now they ask to out and play!
Challenges Are Awesome!
Rewarding real life swings with real life prizes is an awesome concept. My son is really happy with the DK App!
A fun way for kids to train
DK makes it fun for my kids to practice their hitting, and also provides great feedback even without myself or a coach alongside them. They love competing in the challenges and going through the guided sessions that help them climb the challenge leaderboards!
Awesome!
Love getting to train alongside MLB players like Jarred Kelenic and Lawrence Butler!
A great way to follow MLB
There are weekly challenges based on hits and footage from recent MLB games. It’s a fun way to “watch” baseball and gives my son reasons to keep coming back.
Virtual Home Run Derby
My son and his friends love trying to see how far they can hit in the virtual home run derby game in the app

Perfect for Kids – Fun and Skill-Building!
The Diamond Kinetics app is absolutely perfect for younger players.
It turns training into a game with fun activities, challenges, and interactive features that keep kids engaged. My child loves using it—not only is it fun, but it’s also helping improve their skills without it feeling like a chore.
My son loves the swing match
Great Motivator
This app motivates the kids to swing the bat with challenges and leaderboards... always giving away prizes and it has a pretty cool set of lessons you can take with MLB players.
The app uses the phone camera or DK sensor to detect swings, so you can get block by block instruction from the players. It also has a section of beginner lesons from MLB Play Ball, which I appreciated as a parent with young ones. Seems like the DK+ lessons get a bit more advanced.
The sensor price is pretty reasonab
Kids 🤝 MLB
Great way to stay connected to the MLB with highlights updated daily and hitting lessons from current MLB players
Sensor Type
I have one of the original diamond kinetic sensors for the old app. I am not sure why, but it is saying that my sensor is not compatible with the new app. This seems to be a great app, but I would not know because of these technical difficulties.
app always has extreme latency
activities don’t load quite often. hard to use for obvious reasons. freezes often.
Poor Experience Out of the Box
App is super slow and glitchy. Spent two hours on Christmas trying unsuccessfully to add a bat and even register a swing despite it saying the sensor is connect (fully charged and “awake”). Extremely disappointing gift.
Update 3 weeks later…adding 2 stars. Able to add bats now and register swings for the most part. There are still times with a significant lag but it is useable now and one son is enjoying it. I’m hopeful future updates will continue to add to the user experience. Great concept.
Fun till it doesn’t work
I was using it then one day I go on it and the app ain’t opening up
It was almost there
The app and the sensor had a great concept, but as I see it you could have made a section in the app where it displayed the stats of your swing every time and there was really no point for a sensor. If everything you do in the app is either a lesson or you don’t need a sensor for
Bad
Glitches all over the place I would swing and it would not count it. I took 100 swings but it only counted 10

3D Swing image removed on update
The old software, which was free btw, generated a 3D image I could use you visually show hitters how their bat bath went through the zone. The part I used the most has been replaced, and the sensor doesn’t transmit nearly as well since that update. Not happy with what it has become, prior I would have rated 5, now it’s much less effective.
Bring back old feature
Nothing but a bunch of little games and useless things to make your kid want to hit more ever since I got rid of the most helpful tool, which was being able to see your swing path and impact point with the old version this is a tool mainly used just for fun and they took away. What makes it a great tool to be used by advanced baseball players.
Not worth it
The sensor in my bat didn’t connect to the app
