Direct Remote for DIRECTV App Reviews

I like this app but only thing needs done to it is it needs a remote control pad on it with numbers and letters to make it easier to search the channels you want to watch.

Can’t believe it’s only 99 cents 😳 It works beautifully, even across VLANs! Voice command recognition is near perfect. Highly recommend it! Only thing I can’t get working is control of Genie client receivers, but that might be related to my network.

It’s good to have an extra changer around. This program means a changer is always at hand.

After doing an update, the app works again! Great app!

I love the convenience of this, especially considering the fact I lost my remote. I just find it super annoying that you have to pay for it.

Night mode is perfect for nighttime! But make the favorite channels grid black and add white versions of some favorite channel logos.

I tried other remotes and they wouldn’t work with my receiver this one works just fine so it cost a buck it’s worth it.

Took me a little effort to set it up at first. Had to use the manual route, but once it found my genie box...BOOM!!! Works amazingly. Highly recommend it.

For iPhone it freezes constantly and I have to delete it and reinstall it at least every three days. You guys should be better at this.

Waisted time and my .99 doesn’t work and the tutorial is so confusing

You have to be able to connect to WiFi to find the receiver to control just FYI

Needs numbers keys for passcodes and channels.

App has to be reconnected from time to time

Keeps locking up requiring removal and reinstall.
