Disc Golf Network App Reviews

DGPT is doing a great job getting content out there, love the footage, cameras have improved, commentary is professional (though I’d choose the fun of jomez) - but the app is a struggle, skipping forward and backward on post - live rounds always ends up with the red wheel of death. I just want to skip lots of content and watch key throws and leaders, it’s a struggle.

I’ve got a pdga number, so I linked it to my account. Is there anything for me to watch without paying? I’m okay with not watching things live, but when I hop on YouTube and watch the same content for free, I’m left wondering: Does my pdga number linked to my profile actually give me access to anything? I understand the discounts and stuff, but does a free pdga account have any access?

Update from prior review (below) — the problem seems to have been solved. Further, I noticed that I can watch a non-live video on my iPhone, then sat down to watch on my AppleTV, and it knows where I left off on the iPhone. This is standard for most streaming apps, but didn’t used to work for DGN. Glad they prioritized that. Prior review: Constantly freezes on iPhone. Apple TV app works well, but iPhone not so much (and I have latest 16 Pro model) — basically unusable. Please fix.

Freezes quite a bit and if I pause and go to another app it takes me out of the video and I have to go back to it again

5 years and it gives me trouble every other time I try to use it.

To the owner/owners of this app. I love this app! Awesome for keeping up with the disc golf community!! I got an idea for y’all! Try adding shorts! Make a little section of the bottom bar. And have it say shorts! The shorts can be of new discs or new companies, or sweet disc golf shots! Or aces or just funny moments!! Have people interact with the shorts too! The can like/heart it. They can share it or save it! This idea can make the app ten times better! It will open the community more. And

It’s February… I opened the app to see what the 2026 schedule is, and it doesn’t show anything. Shouldn’t you be promoting that, so people know when to come back paying for the new season?

This app used to be great and a convenient way to login to my DGN subscription on Apple TV. Lately every time I try to login it says it was an error with the code. It also doesn’t auto filling passwords and makes it more difficult to login every time I use it. Fix it please.!
