Good as it gets! Pretty much the best shmup ever made… controls fantastic on a phone making it the ideal version (imo).

CAVE makes the absolute best shoot-em up games, and this one is no exception. For the last few years these masterpieces were unplayable on modern iOS devices, but in a surprise, they added 64-bit compatibility recently. Do yourself a favor and pick up all of the CAVE shooters available - you won’t be disappointed! And, CAVE, PLEEEEAAASE update Espgaluda 1 & 2 as well!!

I was so surprised to see ‘DDP:Blissful Death’ in my updates! Not only that: ‘DDP Maximum’ now works on my device(ipod 6th gen!) I was so giddy with excitement, i went ahead and bought ‘Deathsmiles’ now that it’s only $7. Thanks so much CAVE. I wish your games from xbox 360 worked on xbox one, but this is almost as cool. Just waiting for Bug Princess 1&2 and Espagulda(?) 2 next

I love these Cave shooters. I have a handful of them for the PS2 that I imported back in the day. It is just so nice to have it on your phone so you can practice at work. The controls are much easier for IOS and they have various difficult levels for newcomers to the genre. Would love Ibara!

Probably the best shmup out there, especially for IOS.

These games are wonderful but need controller support….they are way too easy otherwise. Pinpoint accuracy touch control is not how this was meant to be played

This is an purely awesome danmaku shmup. Cave, continuing after losing all lives should not require credits or tokens. That insert coin feature in modern shmup games is completely outdated. The game should allow unlimited continues like any modern smartphone shmup. Not requiring insert tokens to continue playing

Just saying thank you for updating this. I do hope you guys have plans to update ESPGaluda II and all of your Bug Princess games... especially Mushihimesama Bug Panic (absolutely the BEST dual-stick game available for the iOS.... I miss it so much....) and BP2BL (the best of the best when it comes to Mushihimesama). Deathsmiles and DDPR could both use some bug fixing, but other than that.... it's nice to at least have a few of these back after so long without them. So:::: thank you, Cave!

I own your games on every platform all the way back to Xbox 360. I would buy them all over again. Just please don’t go the micro transactions route or offer an option to buy for one price. To me all your games are easily worth $60 each. Please let us know how we can support you!

If it crashes, play on the smallest screen setting. It makes it harder but still. Great game

I already have the J-360 port and this is a great addition. I have iPhone 4 playing it on medium size screen and it does crash once in a while though...I hope they possibly fix it.

The port is as awesome as all the other ones. But what makes me really happy is the ability to finally emulate the slowdown of the pcb. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

even if the graphics and setting is not as crazy as DDP: resurrection, this game is a total joy to play. Music is top notch, as always. Another must have, Cave never disappoints, best catalogue of games in the Appstore by a long stretch!

I don't know why I even bother having other games installed on my phone anymore. Cave games are brilliant. Check the "More from this developer" section and let the wallet draining commence.

Needs a better resizing method/filter but otherwise a great update. Glad to see CAVE updating their older iOS releases! Fingers crossed to see Espgaluda II and Bug Princess 2 also updated!
