its a game with just the right amount of depth + difficulty while having a simple premise and being easy to jump into. never gets boring and the art style is perfect.

I love this game, gameplay feels smooth and satisfying, and difficulty feels hard, but accomplishable. One minuscule problem is a lot of the time when I play rogue-likes/rogue-lites like this, I like to listen to a podcast in the background as I go through run after run, and turning off the excellent music is possible, but there’s no way to turn off the sound effects. I realize it would be a whole thing to go and change that now, but really my only issue with this otherwise impeccable game!

The best iOS game in existence, period. I’ve been playing this game regularly for about a year now and I love it more and more each time I play (still haven’t quite beaten it yet tho lol). Intuitive yet challenging, simple yet engaging. The fast pace and permadeath also work so well for a mobile game. I love this game so much. Absolutely love this game. One huge request, even though it’d be a little squished, is landscape mode. It’d be way easier to play if I could hold the phone sideways.

This game is almost perfect, except that I can’t play music or listen to podcasts while playing. If there was a mute option I’d be in heaven.

Love this game. Have it for iOS and Switch. Only request would be a landscape mode. I know that’s a little hard to do on a phone but it’d be easier to hold the phone that way. Other than that, fantastic!

Incredible! The only thing it needs now is an endless mode where your items can stack! For example having two gem attractors would make gems come from farther away!

The controls for this game are very simple and the concept is straight forward. This game allows for some really fun and fast paced gameplay. It’s a great game to just pick up and play. You don’t need a block of time for it.

I was watching Tamago2474 do a game show episode on this and thought it was great and it is! For some reason the music stopped for a while and then the sound effects stoped. I don’t know if anyone has a problem with that

Please update so I can turn off all sound from the game and continue listening to music/podcasts. This would truly make it perfect.

One of my all time favorite games ever and one of the few games I will buy over and over because of just how good it is. Devolver Digital really knocked it out of the park with this one.

It was nice that this game was finally updated to the modern iPhone aspect ratio, but they really need to update it to properly dim the Home Bar.

This game is one of the most fun iOS games I’ve played. It’s sad to me that it looks like it’s no longer being developed. I would love more styles and gun types. Hope it gets an upgrade.

One of the best games, 💯 But if you leave Downwell to do anything else on your device, (including swiping up for a moment to change your song) there is a very high chance Downwell will crash and you will lose your progress.

The game itself is flawless to me, But please fix the crashing. Whenever you leave Downwell via text, home screen, email, etc the game freezes and makes you restart.

Very nice game, but we need to be able to change the screen to vertical mode! I can do that in my computer version and it’s a blast! I really wish to play this game on my iPad with a controller in vertical mode! Please update this!

Awesome but it's way to HARD! Your lucky if you can make it to the 4th level! PLEASE, PLEASE, have a level of difficulty to select from! And it would hands down be 5 STARS!
