Game is legendary
Was great back in the day, but revisiting it has shown its limitations. Very, very grindy and a bit boring. Kinda wish I had left my good memories intact.
Like controller support and cloud save so you can play on your iPad , pick up where you left off on your phone etc. at a minimum some way to back up your save so a move to a new device (Or formatting your device) doesn’t mean losing all the time you’ve put in.
Nothing more to say. Classic JRPG, turn-based fantasy adventure. 10/10. Good stability, no issues (iphone 8, ios 14.8.1, oct 2022)
I love this game but needs number seven dragon quest
These games are amazing on mobile, I can’t say the same for the other ones but the first one is a condolete remake built from the ground up, it is an AMAZING way to play it, but…there are other ways to play the game and playing a game that’s kinda long on your phone is…not that great…but it’s still a good game, I would recommend to anyone who wants to play dragon quest for the first time and only has an iphone
The only thing this and all if the Dragon Quest updates needs is CONTROLLER SUPPORT. I have a blue tooth controller that I would to use with these games.
This game needs an update. It’s very choppy and I know it’s not my hardware. It’s like this on my IPad mini 5 and my iPhone SE second edition. It actually bothers my eyes.
I freaking love this game!! The quick save and auto save features reduce difficulty but it also reduces a lot of frustration and wasted game play! Purists, get over it! Lol. I’m so glad they put these on iOS! I’m now beating the whole series!
Overall balanced and fun for an 80’s JRPG
This game is everything you want it to be if you’re looking for Dragon Warrior for the NES. This is an amazing game. I loved every minute that I was playing.
I upgraded from iPhone 8 to an Xs and it deleted my game save, I was having a lot of fun but no way I want to grind back up to level 15 again. iCloud support would have been nice:
Good Game, but how to choose traditional Chinese? There is no language selection
Works perfectly on the iPhone. The game was as fun as I remembered it but I was a lot more efficient this time around. Great for a quick download and can finish in in a long weekend. Cheers.
Dragon quest 1-3 runs and looks great on iPhone XR. Please update DQ 4-6 to take advantage of the bigger screens
I like this game, but I when I press the screen I cannot get the search function to come up. Can someone help?
Definitivamente los mejores $3 dólares gastados en este adictivo juego, estaba dudoso por el formato del teléfono pero se maneja excelente, si te gustan los RPG y eres fan de dragón quest este juego no te lo puedes perder, compra recomendada
I would love to see this series support landscape mode.
If I only had one complaint Is that the game doesn’t let you listen to outside media while playing and the game goes into an infinite loading loop if you attempt to. But Oh my gosh this game is a masterpiece
A great JRPG classic brought forward in time with some good polish. Unfortunately, the game has a few bugs that can break it pretty easily. Try not to lock your device while using the app.
Can be finished in about two days (probably less if you look up a guide). No ads, no in-app purchases. A simple RPG (perhaps THE original simple RPG) that delivers a fun experience for all ages. Recommended.
This is just a pure, fun old RPG. If you use a guide, you can beat it in a day.
Let’s be honest, having to select STAIRS was the worst back in the [NES] day. This is a great game. Love it.
I got into dragon quest 11 last year and was curious about the previous ones. Considering this is the port/remaster of the 1985 version it’s pretty good and I’m happy with it.
I couldn’t put it down it’s just fun at what it does perfect for mobile
Yes it was modified for people to beat easier. People don’t have the time to play games like they used to. It still has grinding like it used to but you level faster. That being said, I love this game, still one of my favorites. Buy it.
Easy smooth controls, nice updated images, quick save. Overall a great port and perfect for a dad like me that only has brief moments for gaming. Love it!
I’d pay $60 for this on Xbox One and Final Fantasy 4 (FF2 on SNES) too. Please!!!!
I like this but there is no enemy hit point data when attacking. Please add. Thanks
When I save the game does not save the same happened in dragon quest ll also it deleted all my saves Please fix this otherwise good game
Classic, simple, enjoyable. I wish, though, that after this many years they would allow the option of playing as a female hero. I would buy it all over again if it meant I could rescue Gwaelin as a woman.
It’s a perfect way to fill small gaps of free time with.

First,I keen to play dragon quest builder 1 and 2 very much.So I wanna play every dq to know world of dq well. But,I am a Chinese,How can I change language?
Just got my iPhone 8 Plus and this app produces no sound on my phone please fix.
I own iPad & iPhone. Can’t move saves between them. Great game but can’t rank higher since they won’t support a basic function. Also landscape mode would be nice.
