Top tier OG ps2 game, great story, open world ahead of its time.

Would be perfect if updated to allow external audio. Otherwise a masterpiece!

Best DQ on not the best platform, but still playable and convenient. Might be the weakest way to experience the game, but still gold overall.

It holds its charm even without the voice acting. It doesn’t include the extra dungeons and new characters that the remake has. Most don’t like the portrait mode aspect, but I think it’s fine. I can choose to play with one hand and that personally is awesome. My only thing is that there are bugs here and there, which is why I recommend picking this up when it’s discounted or it’s your first time playing DQ8. One of my favorite games but its missing the audio (people speaking) and that’s part of what i loved about this game. Add the character audio and instant 5 stars

My favorite Dragon Quest. Well worth the money, and a wonderfully executed port.

No vocals nor ability to use a controller.

Great game love that I can play it here and there on my phone just wish I could turn my phone sideways to play it instead of having to hold my phone upright
