Top tier OG ps2 game, great story, open world ahead of its time.

Having this game in your pocket is amazing. Would be even better if it got updated to let game audio and podcasts to play at the same time, like Dragon Quest 3, 5, and 6 do
Controller support plus Landscape
This game really needs controller support as well as landscape mode to make this the perfect mobile port. Will change rating if controller support and landscape mode come along in the future Square
DQVIII Mobile is serviceable
Best DQ on not the best platform, but still playable and convenient. Might be the weakest way to experience the game, but still gold overall.
Not stunning, but not charmless either
It holds its charm even without the voice acting. It doesn’t include the extra dungeons and new characters that the remake has. Most don’t like the portrait mode aspect, but I think it’s fine. I can choose to play with one hand and that personally is awesome. My only thing is that there are bugs here and there, which is why I recommend picking this up when it’s discounted or it’s your first time playing DQ8. Pls add speed up
I love this game, but no denying it drags on sometimes and this is the WORST dq game when it comes to grinding. So please if you’re not gonna have overworld sprites, at least add some speed up option because dang

One of my favorite games but its missing the audio (people speaking) and that’s part of what i loved about this game. Add the character audio and instant 5 stars

Missing important things.
No vocals nor ability to use a controller.
Good game lozy operation
Great game love that I can play it here and there on my phone just wish I could turn my phone sideways to play it instead of having to hold my phone upright
