DTMF Decoder App Reviews

Works great for me. I am a ham radio operator and I can run this app and hold it next to the speaker to decode DTMF codes that others are using to control equipment.

Works as advertised. Would love to see additional features in future, such as a history, decode hex, ability to decode faster (shorter) tones. Otherwise, really really cool!

I use this app regularly when troubleshooting autodialers and telephone entry systems. It saved me so much time. You must adjust noise levels in order to detect dtmf tones in noisy environments.

When I first downloaded this app it didn’t work at all but after rebooting my iPhone 7 Plus it works GREAT! I actually used it at work today to grab the digits of an auto-dialer that dials very fast and it got it right every time. This thing works almost as well as a real digit grabber. I give it 5 stars now.

We played around with it, and it picked up the tones and got them correct.

Any way to get this work with new iPhone update??? Great app but now it won’t work....

I needed used this to diagnose an issue with a call box for an apartment building. It worked great!

I tested this in multiple environments and with multiple sound levels. This App needs to buffer the DTMF better because there are far too many “double digits” that occur. I also have “Phonal Tonal,” and that also generates errors, but it outperforms this App even in quiet ambient conditions. Very disappointing. Phonal Tonal seems to generate random (phantom) numbers when no DTMF is present, which this App doesn’t seem to do, but it still shouldn’t put in multiple digits when only one digit was p

I don't like this new version, please put back to most recent version. I don't understand the on/off switch, seems to serve no purpose. There are no instructions or labels explaining what things do or are for. I don't like how the decoded box works, would like to see each decode on a separate line, not all running together. Would also like to see the program be able to continue decoding while the app is closed operating in the background minimized. Again, not happy with this version of the dtmf
