Fantastic utility app with awesome developer!
The auto snooze and incessant notification feature has done what almost no other reminder app could - it gets me to actually do the task. This was probably the smart app purchase I’ve ever made. If I could change one thing, it’d be to add widget options with the controls on the left side for those of us who are left handed.
I’ll make my review short and to the point: I don’t know how I could possibly go back to living without this app. It is everything a good app should be and more. I use it for major reminders (appointments, meetings) to the most mundane reminders (recurring trash take-out, clean out the fridge every 3 weeks). To see something pop up makes all the difference between tasks sitting on a static list and actually completing tasks.
This is a great app that can gently pester you until you complete whatever task you set. You can set recurring tasks and different intervals. I have several licensure renewals that come at different times of the year that I would always lose track of. Due let’s me know about each one. It’s a huge relief!
This is the best reminders app available.
I decided to get this app over 3 things, and I am so glad I did. The integration of Siri, and how quickly it is to set a new reminder can’t be beat. Definitely worth every bit of the asking price
This would be a great reminder app if not for one (basically critical) flaw: when you open the app, incomplete reminder notifications disappear from the lock screen. I asked customer service if there was a way to keep the notifications up after opening the app, and they said there wasn’t currently. This is pretty bizarre, but if they fix this, it will be my go-to app.
It will snooze until you mark it as done. So even if it becomes a background, you can customize your snooze from the notification itself and surprise yourself with a different time. Helps me get to things even if it’s late but I get to it and it’s never forgotten! Thank you One suggestion: Could you make timer available in the shortcuts app so I don’t have to go into the app to start or snooze. Plus show the timer running constantly in the Notification Center.
So many intuitive features and no bugs!! I love all the customizable snooze times, the simple layout. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you add the ability to make reminders in a separate list with no alert, and the ability to have some scheduled for a specific day with no alert. I need this functionality in a todo app. Until then, I am stuck with the native reminders app
Somehow I am more productive with this app. No magic trick. It’s just a simple idea that works.
I highly recommend the following change to this app- When a user-created reminder becomes due and pops up on a locked iPhone screen, and the user swipes right on the reminder to open it, the user is taken to the editing screen for that reminder. 99% of the time that I open the app this way, all I want to do is delete that reminder. So when a user swipes right to get to a reminder, it should just go to the list of reminders, and not the editing screen for that particular reminder.
Please consider adding location based reminders. That would be so helpful as we leave or arrive at locations. The app works great and syncs perfectly. So happy I switched from my other app I have been using for….forever! Just this one feature would really make it perfect!
This app has really changed how I organize my life. I use it as a brain dump to offload my thoughts. The thoughts I used to tell myself I would remember and never would. It works so much better than the default reminders. I love the widget. I love the alerts. It’s top tier. It’s a little scary how much I rely on an app, but I do.
There is one limitation that I would like to see fixed. Sometimes I do a particular activity twice in the day and it would be nice to be able to set one reminder that goes off twice rather than having to set two reminders.
So fast and easy to use. Of all my reminder apps, this one has seen others come and go off my home screen and outlasted them all.
This is the reminder app that works for me better than anything else. Since I have the attention span of a flea, the fact that the Reminders will keep coming in, makes sure that I actually focus on them. I would recommend this to almost anyone, but if you are someone with ADHD, I would recommend it tenfold! Bought it years ago and will keep the upgrade pass forever.
I’d love to see the app come to windows as I go back and forth between windows and apple products
Then it would be a 5star rating :)
Does what it says it does, reliably.
This flexible task minder is the best app I have found for keeping me organized. Persistent to a fault it won't let you forget anything! Could not do without it given my busy work and personal life.
It’s been working perfectly up until iOS 16. Now I can’t use Siri to set reminders. Maybe it’s a bug? Before I was able to use Siri to set a reminder, I deleted the stock Apple reminders app, so due was my only reminders app. ** update, the developer responded, which is great. And the Siri shortcut was installed, except in order to work you have to pay the premium annual subscription. Which I probably will do but that’s a bummer I have to pay for twice.
This app is great for people like me who easily fall into the clear and “ok ill do it in a minute” trap only to forget a few minutes later. Nice and usable UI. Syncing between devices can be slightly off if one device hasn't opened the app in a long time which I’m sure is due to ios sleeping the app in the background.
This app is amazing and keeps me on top of my stuff 24/7. All I ask for is to simply have the option to add a notes section under each task.
Probably the only and best constant reminder app! This app has saved my butt so many times I can’t even count. Honestly, it’s very simple and intuitive to use and for the money is a must have if there is anything in your life like taking medication or a consistent appointment that you have that you cannot forget. 100% recommend this as a must have on your iPhone.
I have used DUE on my iPhone for two years now and it is irreplaceable for me. It is the most useful system as you can customize your reminders to fit any situation, snooze as many times as you want, change reminders on the fly and set timers if needed. Keep up the great work!
Hello, Due is freezing on iOS 16 when I try to create an event and change the date. Usually a date picker calendar would appear when trying to change a date on an event but after upgrading to iOS16 there is no date picker appearing and the app freezes..please fix this I have used Due for years and love it. I sent an email to report this issue but no response. I have rebooted my phone and that doesn’t change the issue. Thank you!
I’ve used this app for years, and it used to allow me to “Mark Done” on my Apple Watch which would then sync with my iPhone. That stopped about a year or so ago. The reminders show up on the watch and phone, but I need to input that they’re completed separately on both devices. I signed up for a subscription thinking that this would fix it but it hasn’t. I’ve also deleted and reinstalled the app and that made no difference.
Due has been indispensable for me keeping up with reminders. It prefer it over any other reminder app I've used. The flexibility with recurrences and snoozing is fantastic.
Much better than the Reminder app on iOS.
It does so many things perfectly. I would only ask for a slightly simpler way of making something due tomorrow. Although at this point it's only two extra clicks. This app cleans up your life. It made it on my regular four after only a couple days.
This app has essentially changed and improved my life….I use it not only for reminders but also favorite quotes, sayings, biblical scriptures, as well as birthdays for friends and family…I have not found a better app that does all of these things that I need to keep my daily life on track…Thank you to all that contribute to the constant improvements and enhancements to the app!
This is a fantastic periodic reminder app. I’m a long-time and happy customer.
I have the Upgrade Pass for this app. The app is five stars with new USEFUL features all the time. The different alarm sounds allow me to differentiate when I need to, but usually I am wearing my watch. The watch app is great. Together these two apps make DUE infinitely better than the Apple reminder app.
Due is the app from the future!!! A reminder app that actually works. It doesn't eat, it doesn't sleep, it doesn't feel pity or remorse, and it absolutely WILL NOT STOP...until you are REMINDED!!! It's the REMINDANATOR! 😎
Everyday this little friend reminds when to take my meds. Then waits the slotted time I set to remind me again. It’s the most simple reminder not like an annoying alarm you need to turn off. It ding ding dings. Then quietly sits on lock screen until you clear it, or mark done or send it into the future 3hours, 1 day, 3 days
Fantastic app. This is what a Reminders App should be. The persistent reminders keeps you focus.
This app has always been a rock solid alternative to the native Reminders app. I had previously written a review mentioning the issue of consistent syncing between devices. That issue has persisted through all app updates as well as iOS releases. I use Due on my phone, currently a 13 Pro Max, and an iPad Pro. Background syncing happens about 50% of the time perhaps less. As a single device app it is superb in all features. But launching the app on multiple devices on a regular basis is necessary
I don’t usually write reviews for apps I buy, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Due!! It’s so easy to use, and it’s great for those little reminders during the day, like turn off the sprinkler on the lawn, call Judy at 5 pm, send birthday card to Don, Brittany soccer practice at 4 pm, etc etc. It dings and the reminder pops up and if you don’t mark it done or postponed, in five minutes it dings again, til you do something about it. I highly recommend it, especially if you have a busy life with work, erran
I’ve used Due for years to remind me of daily and weekly repeating tasks because it’s the only app that works for me. The repeated reminders until I check off the task are a life saver. Keep up the good work, Due!
Set it to annoying you incessantly about any undesirable task and it’s as good as a five year old nephew you promised ice cream.
I love the Siri integration, snoozable reminders, watch app… so much good stuff here! Would EVEN BETTER if the reminders could be categorized into different groups and if notes or sub-tasks could be added
Great app and another great update, developer is responsive and now with Siri integration.
I am likely to dismiss alerts and alarms without even noticing them. Thanks to Due s nagging I noticed!
Love the app. Just wish there was a bigger widget option for the iPad and a way to group reminder’s into different lists.
this developer should win an award
