Duolingo - Language Lessons App Reviews

So I started Duolingo about a month ago and I have been learning Italian so well! My family is taking a trip to Italy and we have been using this app to speak Italian for this trip Duolingo helps you by going step by step directions for the words! I think if you want to learn a new language then download this AMAZING APP!!!!!

When I first started Doalingo I was confused but after a few days I started to love it now I have been playing it ever day to keep my streak it is sooooo much fun😁!!! From. FroggG280🐸

If you want to be safe don’t miss a Spanish lesson or whatever lesson you’re doing but it is a good app so you need to try it but I’m just warning you do not miss a lesson and if you do Duolingo will be at your door so you better not miss a lesson

You get to learn as many languages as you want, and they’re really good at teaching you

This is soooooooooo cool and fun. I am even learning the piano on music. Thanks . You guys have to try this

Very good app as long as you don’t skip a lesson (duo will kidnap your family if that happens i learned the hard way) but good app overall

Okay so Duolingo is so fun I absolutely love it there are tons of languages to learn and in the languages there is tons of units and in the units there is lessons but only one thing I got in second place and then they offered super duolingo and then I went down to third place and they just stopped super doulingo and they just ditched me! So they left me hanging so yeah but duolingo is super fun and funny

I was at school so I’m wondering if there is a school mode so you know that I’m not missing my lesson on purpose. When you make it let people change the time and turn it on or off, just in case they graduate school forever

Honestly I have been using the app for a while and it has great features for teaching your young children to teach them a new language for an upcoming trip.The features in Duolingo don’t make you feel like your stupid but rather that your learning so it’s okay to make mistakes(The only problem with the app is that you get one heart every FOUR hours so for the 5 hearts you need you need to wait 20 hours)Anyway hope u use Duolingo

This app is pretty good and I did learn a little bit of Japanese while I was still using this. The problem is that by now you may have seen the meme of Duolingo and my problem is that I forgot one lesson and two days later while I was gone from my home, my dog was messing all I found was his collar and a open back door with the lock open. It probably wasn’t you… But for all I know, I could be in danger.

Can you please make the app to support split view? It will be more helpful to write notes with split view

This is a really good app I love it it’s free but you can get Duolingo super for some money but other than that it’s really good I would recommend it don’t Listento the negative reviews bye!

In my book, it takes a while to learn languages and this isn’t making it any faster but it’s really helpful for me and it’s way easier than a log of different ways to learn a language.

This app is awesome it teaches me everything I need to know and encourages me to keep learning.

Really good works well i Learned quite a few words in a very short Time I would suggest taking the Italian corse the only reason it isn’t a five star is because

First off I’m on 500+ day streak and am Diamond. However the new version lacks the fun the old one had. First the game crashes 7 out of 10 times. Also the timed games are much to fast. Before I was averaging 40-80 points a game now 10-20. Extremely disappointed in the new direction

Can’t say I’m crazy about it. One thing I really liked about Duolingo compared to other language learning apps is the clearly marked titles. If I wanted to review the subjunctive, it was easy to find. I recently finished the Portuguese track but now I feel like I’m back at square one. I can’t find any of the subjects I want to review easily. Also it was fun to get double experience…will have to figure out if that’s possible now.

Love the ease of learning Spanish With Duolingo

I love the French course. (That gets 5 stars.) However, the Korean course needs work. The pronunciation needs to be more accurate, it needs more by units, and there should be an option to have your speech recognized like other courses. Fix these things and I’ll give a five star rating.

I'm writing this reveiw as of August 2022 and there has recently been an update where you have to complete tasks? Yes I do get that they're trying to get people to do more learning but it kinda defeats the purpose of making it fun. I downloaded this app to learn Spanish to communicate better with my family(especially my grandma). It only has the Spanish from Spain, and not Mexican Spanish. Duolingo is an amazing app that gave me the opportunity to learn a new language with the perk of being free.

i’ve been doing like 15 minutes of duolingo everyday for like 2 weeks and it helps SOOO much and like i’m just doing it for 15 minutes a day and i feel so smart and i feel like it’s a good thing to do just a couple minutes every day especially in the summer in between school years cuz then u can be ready for ur next school year. just remember SAD. slay. all. day. -finn (no not finn wolfhard, def wish i was dating him tho)

My friend introduced me into duolingo and I was so annoyed when she kept telling me about it and then I finally downloaded it a week later and started to love it!! I am about a week into it and it is amazing!! Right now I am learning Japanese! Please go download it right now if you are trying to learn a new language!

ok so personally I like the app but there are a few issues… 1. It’s sometimes too slow… like when you get your score, it sometimes lags for you to see it like it’s so annoying. 2. the streak… like I know you’re supposed to practice everyday but can you like get unlimited freezes????? Like if you’re busy and if you can’t make it can’t you just freeze it?! like I’ve lost my streak soooooo many times because I was busy doing sports or homework or something. Constantly gives an incorrect mark down when I give an alternate way of saying the same sentence. Does not have multiple answers in queue for being correct.
