11 Positive User Reviews for Earthquake Monitor
Informative
Even though there haven't been any in my area, it's still awesome to have this data on hand, at any time!
Great for Science
If you're studying or tracking earthquakes, this app is great! It's very accurate all around the globe! As of now, the app is free(which is good!). The updates are not too expensive with special incentives for the user. This keeps users "tuned in" and always up to date with the latest on global earthquakes.
Great app
I'm liking this app more and more now. It works great . I like to be able to see nearby cities as well. I used to have the app from the Red Cross for years but they recently updated it and it is now the worst of them all. Thank You
Nice slim app
With the ads switch in this update to Google, tell us what info is shared w/them. It's not enuf to say what isn't. Google makes it's $ selling our privacy & we need transparency what it's really costing us & what is being collected by whom. We should have an opt out. It's really nobody's business, except it's mfr, what I do with an app!
Works Great very basic and easy to use...
App was hard to find at first (keyword earth quake wasn't showing it but USGS did) App functions great and is customizable on distance and magnitude alerts. On the Santas list the ability to change the sound to something more alert (louder) if needed. Easy to use!
Cool app
As someone who lives in California this app is a must have. Makes you appreciate how much the earth is moving around.
Great start
I have been using this app, along with two others, for six days. Of these, this app seems to have the most reasonable default notification settings - moderate quakes near me, and major quakes worldwide. Other apps alert me to minor quakes worldwide (alert overload) and imperceptible quakes near me, and want me to make in-app-purchases (IAP) to change the settings.
Unfortunately, many quakes have the Possible Tsunami tag line added, unnecessary. I'm pretty sure a 4.1 quake is hardly likely of t
App Versions, updating
Good App works pretty well but today there was a 5.3 Earthquake in Southern California ( date: 04-05-2018). It seemed the update was a bit slow but the 5.3 did show up on the page of daily Earthquakes. I’m not sure why the update was so slow. Also would you consider doing an Android version of this app if possible.
Very Accurate App

I felt this earthquake tonight and this App reported the earthquake 3 minutes later. You are not going to get any fast response than that. This app has a very special feature that allows me to set the area where my daughter lives and know if there is an earthquake there long before there is any notification on the news or on the internet.
Very good!
If you want a high quality earthquake app, this is it!

Keeps bothering me for nothing
I set it to "alert quakes stronger than mag 6" and "limit to near my location". HOWEVER, it keeps bothering me of mag 4 quakes in Puerto Rico. I'm in Hawaii, so that's about 6,000 miles away, almost halfway around the world!
