Easy Release - Model Releases App Reviews

App works great, however I can’t figure out how to make it default-send from my business email account, not my personal tied to my mobile device via App Store, please help! Otherwise it’s 5 out of 5!

Functional but clunky. Model release app that I have used for 10 years and recommend, the best, but definitely not a finished product. When you’re done with a model release, you literally have to hit “cancel” about five times to get back to the main menu / start another release. …and when you email a release there is nothing that says sent! It works, it’s fairly intuitive, but it’s not simple or common sense. Kind of halfway thought out and not a finished product.

I’ve been using this app for years. So long now that I can’t even remember. Back when I had an iPhone 4. It’s simple and easy to use. A suggestion I think would be great is a counter at the top or bottom to keep tab of how many releases you have.

Most used app on my phone; can’t believe I ever worked without it! Thanks for the super fast and helpful support, too.

Pretty easy to use and set up. Many photoshoot done using this app and always just the best results and clarity for the model and for us as a photograohers.

Once I started to use this app I no longer had a need for paper releases. I can keep multiple versions of releases both property and model and customize them to fit my needs. In addition the back up to the cloud and email pdfs ensures that both the model and I have a copy.

Some of the settings are confusing, like why it asks for a parent's signature if your model is 18-20 years old.

Would be great if one could use email app other than iOS mail, like your less expensive competitors Would be great if this app ran on macOS, like your less expensive competitors Would be great if you modernized the user interface and gestures to keep up with the times, like you less expensive competitors.

My app no longer opens. All I get is a dark screen. Please advice as to a fix. Thank you.

This is a feature-rich release app which offers tons of flexibility for working photographers and videographers. It could, however, use some stability improvements to work smoothly on the latest iOS builds - lack of updates, random crashes, failures to initialize, and intermittent hang-ups call into question the price tag on this software.

It used to work but now whe I choose the option to send it via email the sent button is greyed out. Any ideas???

Getty has a new enhanced release (that includes biometric data and machine learning clauses) and this app has not updated yet. You can add text yourself if you own the upgraded version, but I wish they would just update the default text or give an option for enhanced release.

In the last year, I’ve noticed an increasing number of freezes, incorrect, formatting of pages, and other assorted bugs that are probably connected to updates in the operating system. Has crashed once or twice as well. Hoping for an update soon!

I am enjoying the app and it is definitely worth the cost however I do wish there was a way to fully disable the photo requirement for each model release. Also it would help if the model names wouldn’t be organized in alphabetical order. When I am organizing the releases for a shoot ahead of time I enter the names in the order of my shoot schedule. It would be nice if they stayed that way, at least until they are signed .
