Everybody needs to use this is really going to make a difference and change the world for the future of this planet and we must all do our part

I really love the app and the transparency but their ai sucks. I got Ecosia to avoid generating AI popups that are incredibly unhelpful and are terrible for the environment. When they added AI mode(which I hate but whatever), I turned it off and things were good. HOWEVER. the summaries sometimes show up WHILE I have AI summaries off. I hate that so much. I’ve generally ignored it and tried to avoid it, but today I got multiple ai summaries in a row. Please please fix this 🙏

Honestly this is a pretty neat app and i’m glad that this search engine is producing trees. However, I do feel as if the complete use of ai should be removed from the app to keep it 100% eco friendly and plus by doing so ur helping to the planet out physically and not through profit more as u wish.

I love using Ecosia to support tree planting! I’d love to see a partnership with Brave Search — they have an independent index and strong privacy, which could improve search results while keeping users on Ecosia. A revenue-sharing setup could make it mutually beneficial for both companies. Thanks for considering this idea!”

I like this browser. I like how the ai feature is better for the earth than the other ones. For the ai feature can you add the ability to upload photos . I can’t always write out everything because it’s lengthy. I believe this feature will make everything easier.

I use ecosia, and its awesome. But turning off AI does NOT work. everytime I turn off AI, it turns back on after like 3 searches. The whole reason I got this app was to stop using AI, please fix it.

I feel good about using something other than google. Although I’ve noticed a lot of scam calls after using it. Idk if it’s a security issue or what but other than that it’s a good search engine.

When I found out that Google uses artificial intelligence, it ticked me off knowing that Google didn’t give you an option to turn it off. I then found out about Ecosia and it is basically Google without artificial intelligence. there is a feature of artificial intelligence, but I turned that off and it has not shown up that much since. I definitely recommend this app to people who want to help the planet.

App works great! Only problem is I can’t seem to sync my devices. I enter my email and use the email sent to me, but it never updates between my phone and computer (using the same email).

Suggestions for future updates: 1) Safari has an option to show the search bar toward the bottom of the screen which makes it easy and fast to access. (Called tab bars) 2) There should be an option to minimize the fonts from 100% to say 80% • to make capturing more text in a screenshot if you want to send some info to someone or keep that info for yourself Great app!!

I think Ecosia’s environmental message is good, I want more people to use more environmentally conscious brands and products and I especially want this to grow into a well used search engine. However, they need to change up some of its design and ui choices. The main thing is the images, if you were to search up “iPhone wallpaper” it would show up normally, until you click on a specific image and it will show up weirdly cropped, and if you download and image, it would be a lower resolution than

It’s a neat way to help the environment, and also has more features than I thought it would.

Straightforward title. Sometimes when I try to open the app again it'll freeze for a few seconds and crash. Sometimes this will happen half a dozen times before the app actually opens. Really annoying. Other than that I'd give it 5 stars.

Google started suppressing information ever since what happened in 2020. Not going to say the keywords. Gonna try this

It provides the exact same things safari provides me when I search stuff. It even loads faster than safari and seems to play videos with high quality than Firefox.

I love the redesigned UI, maps and added option to move the the search bar from the top to the bottom.

Works just as good as the common browsers but does much more good for the world. Wholesome and clean! I will never use another browser!

I’m addition to the benefit of this browser helping to plant trees, it’s also the browser that plays nicest with my older iPhone. Very happy to be using it.

Every time I search for something it asks me about cookies even though I click accept all which is very annoying.

The results are just as targeted and the same quality as any of the major search engines. Love knowing that my privacy is respected/protected. So gratifying to see the numbers go up as I search and know that each search gets me closer to planting another tree

I love this app, I love planting trees just based on my searches, but it keeps resetting my trees planted count to zero every now and then. I was at ~18-20 and it reset to zero, then I got to 4, almost 5, which seened like it took a lot longer to plant a tree than before the update, and it just reset to 0 again. As long as they’re being planted and helping, that’s what matters most, but I would like for it to keep track, especially so I can show my count to my friends to convince them to get the

The idea of planting trees while doing simple searches just amazes me. Not many people realize that our earth is dying and we’re not helping, but this app allows us to help. Please help our dying planet! Its the only one we have. The app also works great for me, so thank you so much.

This app Is just like any other search engine, for a good cause too! I really hope this app gets more recognition.

The world already is in a bad shape but with this app hopefully it everyone uses it we can try to re plant all of the trees that people have cut down. 5/5

Functions well. Though the new app logo design looks more like a scammy slot machine app than a browser, so that’s weird.

I used Ecosia to separate what I was doing from Safari after I had too many tab groups and was finding it difficult navigating them. It was doing good until one day I opened Ecosia and everything was gone. Every one of my tabs GONE. Not only that, my history disappeared, and there was no way for me to get it back. I had about 13/14 tabs opened, and I can barely remember 3 right now. Im not giving it another chance.

today i was just going onto ecosia and then my trees went from 3 to 0 and it made me very upset because i worked very hard to get them. ecosia please fix this!

its a great app and ive been a user of ecosia for a while now. its my main browser. but after awhile it stopped counting my searches and logged out of my Gmail.

Make a dark mode option on safari.

Needs a page zoom setting. Text is too small.

im confused why an app so focused on helping the environment would have AI.

I get that Ecosia’s AI is fueled by solar and wind power, but generative AI in general is still bad. I’m not sure how Ecosia can claim to be environmental friendly when AI is also being used. I’m glad it’s at least a feature that can be disabled. Other than that, it’s a good app.
