Elfster: The Secret Santa App App Reviews

I love the look and ease of use with the new update. I use Elfster with family and friends for Christmas (love the gift exchange feature) and birthdays for my kids. It’s such a great way to inform those who ask what my kids want/need. After using this app for 6+ years now the only feature I wish it had was knowing who marked purchased which items. So often my kids open all their gifts without me present (because I’m busy hosting and such) and it would be nice to be able to refer back to the list

I am really awful about knowing what I want until I see it so this is a super convenient way for me to add what I like in one spot for friends and family to see.

I’ve hosted a few spooky baskets or Christmas baskets for the past 3 years and this app has been amazing! Easy to use, does all the work to create the secret buddy! Highly recommend for any party or spooky baskets!

Amazing for Xmas lists

Every year my (very large) family uses this app to select our secret Santas. I appreciate that you can set restrictions to people within the group so they can’t draw certain people. I think if I were to change anything, I would ask for an option to import wishlists from other sites like Amazon, Etsy, etc.

I love using this app for gift exchanges. It’s great when people actually add items to their wishlist because I don’t have to play the guessing game. 10/10 would recommend.

I love this app it’s so funn!! But when I tried to freind a freind my freind had me as a freind but I didn’t have her

I like this app bc I can use different things from different apps to put on but it glitches a lot and always has errors. It signs me out quite often and gets annoying but other wise it’s a good app for wishlists.

This app is seriously everything I’ve ever wanted. It was very thorough but extremely easy to navigate and use. We have a big family so this was seriously perfect!!

I’ve had the app for about two years now.. recently it’s been crashing and closing. I did the update and still the same problems.

Easy way to compile a wishlist of items from multiple stores in one place. I like that you can leave notes on each item for specifics. Our family uses this for Secret Santas.

I really enjoy this app to get gift lists out to multiple people. They do have a “family manager” option so you can create lists for your children or whomever. The only negative to this option is that you are not able to see if a gift was purchased for them. I add to the list throughout the year because we use the app for Easter basket ideas, birthdays, and Christmas. The issue comes in when you go to buy something you don’t know what has already been purchased because you can’t access the list

Great for gifts for all occasions

I truly love Elfster. It literally takes away the “what do I get this person?” anxiety. Very convenient. However, after you create a wishlist, you can personalize it to a specific group or private. But! The private is only limited to one person. I just wish it had the option to select multiple people that maybe be outside of other gift exchanges. I also wish you could create an exchange without the draw feature. Overall, I love it and will recommend it always.

This app is very easy to use and it helps me get things I actually want from my family not just socks from grandma.

In my opinion Elfster is awesome because it helps you keep track of your gifts that you want and in my opinion it's just awesome!

This app is amazing you can easily find what your wishing for and set it up for your child or friend

I wish the homepage had suggested items based off of my wishlists or recently viewed searches. Like with Pinterest, when you save a product to a board, similar items show up on your homepage shortly after. It’s tedious to have to type in exact key phrases to find the things I want, especially if I just want to scroll or discover new things. I do like the current suggestions such as things under $25, but they rarely change and are generic. I think a “recently viewed” or “if you like (product A),

This is an honest review. I really enjoyed this app! It is easy to use. The layout is simple and consistent throughout the app. My group used it for a book swap. I wasn’t the person who organized the book swap, so I can’t rate it as an organizer. I give it 5 stars!

Elfster really is an amazing app. You find so many things you love there’s about something for everyone here. My whole family has this app it’s really great. If you have not tried Elfster I recommend trying it.😁😁😁

It is a great tool for holidays and birthdays. The only problem is that it doesn’t have all popular brands. Otherwise I totes recommend!🥳

I love this app! Although, it did give us some technical difficulties this year with two accounts for Ray, and Ryan not being able to see his account? Other than that, it’s nice for a gift exchange.

I love this wish app and I’ve been using it for almost 5 years. My friends and I always use it for Christmas and I also like to use it for keeping track of the things that I want. One thing I wish this app can do is to allow us to select multiple individuals for who gets to see my wish list. I know there’s a way to select multiple groups. But if we want certain individuals, we only pick one. I would like to be able to pick more than one person! Overall, a great app.

This app has worked well for my family and I. It helps all of us know what we want for our birthdays or holidays. The only thing that has given me trouble is finding very specific items to add to my list. Otherwise, this is a fantastic app and I recommend it for anyone who needs help with picking gifts for loved ones.

I use it every time around Christmas time. I love looking up stuff for my family so they can easily to buy stuff for me. I’m very picky but I can’t I get for Christmas. I like looking at my family stuff so it’s easy for not calling him but text him here so find out what they want for Christmas. It’s really awesome I will give you 100% stars.

I love doing my secret sister. Just because I never know what I’m going to get and from who. Then it’s delivered to the wrong address so I usually have to wait another day to get my package so I have an extra day of suspense.

Hello, I’ve been having an issue where the app will just shut down when I’m in the middle of doing something in the app. If the app could stop shutting down that would be great. Thanks
