App did not work with Onyko TX-RZ630. It makes me sad because the Onyko app is horrible.

This app found the receiver quickly. I tested BD, FM, GAME, NET and Phono inputs. Controls for volume, listening mode, speaker control, zones all work much quicker than Iphone app. My Auralic Aries Music Server found and able to browse the collection. The app identified a Firmware upgrade for the Onkyo.

Just installed the app and it immediately connected to my Onkyo TX-NR6100. Works much better and faster than the Onkyo Controller app. I was this close to buy an WiiM Ultra streamer due to all the frustration with the original controller. Given that the Onkyo’s AVR streaming support is pretty good and this app seems to resolve the issues with the original controller, I might just reconsider adding another streaming device.

The app is amazing. Well thought out and clean, but why doesn’t it have a menu bar option at the top to keep it front and center as we work? The programmer is clearly very skilled and talented…. How did this one fall through the cracks? (Hint hint!)

Ridiculous Onkyo has not updated their official apps. This app works so nicely without crashing. Totally worth the 99 cents!

This remote is fast and effective. The UI could definitely use larger buttons and toggles and do a better job utilizing the whole screen but this is a great start to replace the remote from Onkyo. I paid the .99 and support the developer to make this even better.

Onkyo remote app no longer works. Tested this on my TX-NR737 and it works yay !!

Until Onkyo gets their act together, this is a great alternative. My only issue with this app is the UI design. Other than that, it works nicely.

I have been using the app for 2 days with an Onkyo TX-NR636. The app did not automatically find the receiver, but entering the IP address manually worked. What about it is better than the onkyo remote app? * the onkyo app would regularly not be able to find the receiver, * even when it could, there would always be a 10-30 second delay before you could use the remote after switching apps or waking up the phone. I am optimistic that these don’t seem to be issues with this app.

Thank you. I had struggled for weeks with the Pioneer remote app until I discovered yours. Simple and easy to use UI. The key feature I use all of the time is to switch music between 3 zones. One feature request is to somehow constrain the Amazon Music Unlimited pop up message that keeps interrupting the music.

This makes the official Onkyo app look like it was programmed by an 8 yo for a science fair project. This app is fast at finding the Onkyo unit. Does exactly what I would expect an app of this type to do. Worth more than 99¢!

I feel like I have a brand new receiver even though it’s 7 years old. It showed me several sound mode options I didn’t even new I had. And to be able to change bass, sub level, treble etc without having to go through multiple menus is priceless. Best app for my Onkyo receiver EVER! THANK YOU to the developers! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Unlike the ONKYO app (Remote3) that would only work after unplugging and plugging stereo back in, this app seems to work! And there’s no more waiting for the app to sync to the stereo in order to control it. When I input the ip address I was deleting the (optional) port # and it would never connect. I used the default (optional) port # and it worked.

Yesterday (purchase date) the app would display correct friendly names for my two DENON AVRs and one Onkyo AVR. But today it incorrectly assigns one name to both Denon’s Deleted app and reinstalled. Same problem. The AVR units are correctly named but the APP can’t seem to sort it out. What changed? I don’t know but it’s frustrating. I know they didn't list it as working but there was a review of it working with the 6100 so I took a chance. Would be awesome if someone got it working with the Onkyo TX-NR7100.

Unable to find or manually connect to my NR-737 receiver. A bit frustrating.

worked great for a month now Error message appears when trying to play Amazon Music...must update the app to use Amazon Music. So now it is currently usless to me and developer has not responed to my email.
