Equalizer Pro + App Reviews

This app is all you need for basic level equalizer functions. Easy to use and versatile. However, I wish I could adjust the colors/shading of the graphic display while playing. The green and orange/red is rather boring. I’d prefer blue or purple with gold bars and deep red toppers. It can’t be that difficult to add a color feature, yes????

The audioforge equalizer was the best EQ I had used on iPhone for years. They don’t seem to maintain it anymore. Was hoping this app was superior or similar in functionality. Not quite….if you just want to increase bass or treble with no frills it’s useful. It’s not what I personally need. Don’t let my expert define yours.

The EP+ is excellent…. The music is crystal clear….

This app doesn’t have an adjustable graphic equalizer only predefined settings. My bad for not reading carefully. I believe that any equalizer app should have this feature.

Needed an app to replace EQu that suddenly was no longer available in the App Store. This one fit the bill.

Best I’ve tried but in making a playlist some of the names do not transfer - turns into a foreign language.

I am glad that I bought this app and it’s always my go to!

While you can select the exact frequency you want to change. The UI makes it difficult to adjust frequencies that are close to each other since the scale goes logarithmic. As soon as you get to another frequency it makes your previous adjustment disappear. I wish there was a table where I could write these manually. Example: If I adjust 2.7k and then the 3.2k it fails to be able to keep it and the 3.2 adjustment gets absorbed by the 2.7k.

The app has too many bugs. Album art doesn’t sync sometimes, and now many of my songs don’t appear.

Does not work with streaming services like SiriusXM, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Pandora…
