Escape From Crimson Manor Ep.2 App Reviews

This game, and the prequel both deserve much higher ratings than they both received. The controls being opposite of what we are normally used to with games like these seem to be the only reason for the poor reviews and lower star ratings. The game itself is beautiful, the puzzles are amazing, the hints are helpful, it’s not too short, and the storyline isn’t over complicated. I hope this developer makes more games like this is the near future.

I just found these games & I like them. My only complaint is for both Episode 1 & 2, that the visuals are too dark. Some of the puzzles are hard to read & could just use a contrasting color. Even with the brightness turned all the way up, I’m still having a really hard time seeing some of the puzzles. For example: the circle puzzles, I actually have to take a picture with my phone so I can zoom in & see the positions of the rings.

I hated getting to the end and it says “To Be Continued” with only one choice…. Come on!! I want the the story finished, MC! I’ve purchased every one of your games for years. Please give us a ending…Pretty Please

Beautifully done. Fun, challenging puzzles. Helpful hint system….when needed. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait for Episode 3!

I’ve gone through wall. Froze. Very sensitive. Can’t control where I’m going (dizzy). But a good plot.

Honestly brilliant. Loved it! If you like Glitch games or the Meridian series...you’ll enjoy this one too. Don’t miss it! It’s got good length of game play. The artwork and scenes are beautifully detailed. The clues, puzzles and interactives are unique and fun. That pop up book...wow! And interesting story line. Can’t wait for future chapters. Def worth the purchase. This dev team is quite talented. Thank you!

Loved it. No glitches, great puzzles, decent length (about 3-4 hours). I really have no complaints. I wasnt a fan of the movement at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. I did take notes even though the game did store some for you but it took a while for me to figure out what was important and what wasnt. There is a hint system if you need a nudge in the right direction. The puzzles were thoughtful but not too difficult. Overall a great little game.

It’s impossible to read the descriptive text at the bottom of the screen. Suggest you add a setting to double the text size. Also would be nice to invert both horizontal and vertical movement since the default is opposite of how the iPhone works out of the box. It’s dizzying and hard to move around going the opposite way. Otherwise it looks decent, hoping to be able to play it.

Please fix this. The box gets out of alignment and then it’s impossible to solve

En un inicio el juego se ve interesante pero los detalles son muy pequeños u obscuros y no es posible verlos bien. El cripted es casi imposible verse. No seguiré jugando. Lo borraré
