I want to love mobile version, but I can’t export anything outside of Fade In’s file type. I would love a pdf export option.
I use the app on my ipad and phone and I just love it. It’s a great alternative instead of carrying a laptop around, but my only gripe is just the lack of updates. I can’t type in real time. I don’t know if it’s my phone or the app itself, but trying to type on the app is a nightmare.
Good to get extra work done by changes don’t always save. It said my work was last modified at 3 PM. I exit out of the app, change the font, and all my work for the last thirty minutes has been erased.
So I have all of the usual suspects for cloud storage: OneDrive, Google Drive, iCloud, etc, but FadeIn won't let me export to any of them for some reason.
While using the app on my iPad Air it lags DRASTICALLY while while typing with a Bluetooth keyboard. Keyboard is great and works perfectly well with ANY other app. This is an odd glitch. What am I missing? Love the desktop/laptop version of the app but sometimes it’s a lot more convenient to travel with iPad.
The app doesn’t work fully on the iPad. You can’t create a project on the iPad only edited as long as you uploaded it with your iPhone. There is no dual dialogue, you can’t create a title page. You delete a file when you go out the app it will be back up on the list of projects.
Yo let me tell you something about this horrendous app. Warning my experience with the app “Fade In” is absolutely painful! Whenever I type my script using it lags or receives glitches and in worse cases it DELETES SCRIPTS from the app that I’ve wrote previously. It shocks me how actual screenwriters use this app to write actual films yet the quality isn’t that good, it’s just a mediocre app that has a only a few better qualities! At worst the app is the worst app I’ve ever used. I’m trying to d
I really wish I could like this app because I love the computer software. It does what it’s supposed to do but just barely and not without restrictions. Used the free version and was disappointed so I paid for this version hoping it’d be better but it’s exactly the same as the free one, so I just lost that cash. Improvements to the UI to make this more like the desktop software would be a godsend. Until then I can’t recommend it when there are so many better options.
