My wife has me running up and down stairs and doing all this nonsense, so I barely have a second to myself. I just did a tiny sound sample so I didn't wake my in-laws either. The result was sinister, original and wild. I am going to have a field day with this, BitWiz and Dedalus. Can't wait to do more with it.

Great for making the most insane sounds truly awesome

Deep, but accessible; I find myself using this far more often than Fieldscaper. It has an organic weirdness to it...and that's good.

Love this app. Recently added an iPad to my arsenal of guitar effects. This is one I am getting a lot of use out of. Plus, it has sparked my interest in collecting recordings of ambient and environmental sounds.

Performance Loopers: i've tried them all and this is my favorite (quantiloop is also cool). The creative expressions possible are amazing. Plus very musical and intuitive, clearly made by a musician. You have to take the time to learn the layout (see YouTube). Use a guitar through Midi Guitar 2 to control it along with a BT pedal while using the guitar or your presets as sound elements. I love it!

I guess the software was acting weird for a bit when I was trying to make a new track after a long period of artist block, but after a few relaunches of the app everything worked as expected. This is an extremely intuitive app which allows me to create rich and full tones of other worldly origins. Almost every parameter can be modulated with lfo's allowing a generative movement of drones fading in and out, morphing, and decaying. I love this app to death. This is easily one of the most well-thought out, intuitive, and capable noise/music apps I’ve seen. Requests to developer for help have been quickly answered. I, too, hope it is supported in perpetuity.

Really hoping for an iPhone X update. Love this app more than any other vocal samplers though. Must But!

I'm not going to write a long review. If you're interested in sound, field recording, ambient music, or any kind of sonic experimentation, you really should buy this. It's as indispensable as Paulstretch or granular processing.

This is a winner in every sense of the word. A true gem that will function well on your iPad or your iPhone. Do not spend money on a different field recorder when you can have the Field Scaper which is a field recorder + magic. Your younger brother will want it, your dad will be jealous and your dog will miss your attention. Come one, come all. I’ll see YOU in the FIELD! I can’t believe I’m just now reviewing this app. It was one of my first audio apps for iOS that completely opened up my imagination to what’s possible with surreal sound sculpting. This developer is one of my longtime favorites and all of his apps are stellar. I own all of them! FieldScaper was superb when I first bought it years ago, and it just keeps getting better and more refined. Highly recommended!!!

The abundance of controls can be intimidating at first, but once you start using the app you’ll find it’s easy to use. The ways in which it can alter the original sound are amazing. A simple spoken phrase can turn into all sorts of ambient textures.
