Filmic Pro is the best video app out there. I just got an update and now the app has this cool feature that zooms in when focusing in the app. Love it.

As much as I’d love to continue using the Filmic PRO app, I can’t justify the cost of your subscription model. Whoever decided on this pricing scheme just lost me as a customer. What I would have appreciated is a reasonable path to upgrade the PRO I had previously purchased and made the new advanced features in app add-ons with no recurring charges. Also, the legacy app doesn’t seem to actually give me the advertised video data rates (filmic extreme never seems to exceed mid 20 Mbs on the iPh

Please, PLEASE, as a poor lowly film student trying to make it in the business, PLEASE DO NOT go subscription based! I’m already paying Adobe’s ridiculous prices. Don’t make me beg

Major Bug guys, I was using Filmic Pro for a commercial and it happened twice that it we recorded in 60p/24p playback and it recorded in 60/60 instead. Very strange. Is this a known issue? I’m still giving 5 starts cause I know you will fix it :-). Filmic pro is simply the best app out there.

I just recorded an event with my iphone and filmic and it’s set up the same as i left it, the audio was recorded through the same mic the last few times i used the app (i use it a lot) and the audio was shot. it is completely utterly low. it’s there but i had to export the video a few times l, each time raising the volume to its highest to double it up / triple it up. why did this happen? i check my settings but i didn’t rest audio but again this issue never occurred prior. 13 pro max.

I just recently purchased the Pro Bundle but the app doesn’t allow me to all the features that “CineKit” offers and wants me to pay another $13.99? That there my friends is a case of false advertising. I’m glad I started checking out the options when I did. I’ll give a higher rate once this is addressed, fixed and start using it.

Glad to see the score in the App Store went up to 3.9, it should be 4.8-5 star though. Filmic pro really deserves it, especially also with everything they do to support mobile filmmakers through their online channels and festivals. Filmic Pro is simply the best app for professional mobile filmmaking.

I’ve tried almost every pro film app there is, and filmic pro has become my go-to, without question. It is by far the most reliable. If I ever do run into a question or problem (usually a misunderstanding on my part), the support team is always there to give me timely and helpful advice.

Great for collabs. Also, less worry now knowing that my shoots are being saved off site.

Over a year ago we were told Filmic Pro would have the ability to record multiple cameras at the same time and save them as separate files. What happened with that?

When shooting 60 FPS video, the preview is not in 60 FPS (it seems to be 30 FPS), and the preview will be at 60 FPS only when shooting 61FPS and above. Using iPhone 13 mini.

So ummmm, can you import video files you took with your phone and import it to filmic pro to get hat filmic pro control?

Would be awesome if we could get 4k 60 pro res like Beast Cam app. Also, log and pro res, in 4k. Great app otherwise.

Would rate higher but gimbal support is limited, updates slow. I have a Smooth 5 from Zhiyun, Filmic has support for the 4 but not for the 5…yet. I prefer Filmic to the native app but am unable to use with gimbal until support is updated.

I really like the app. Only suggestion I would make is to be able to keep white balance settings locked or be able to create a custom WB preset.

FilmicPro is always my first and best option to record the best video quality possible with my phone. It’s a great app that gets better everyday. Thank you FilmicPro team.

You guys need update to support the Om5 gimbal

They should allow stereo at least, Apple does. Also I don’t see options for audio bit depth. 16 won’t cut it so I hope it’s recording in 24.

when can iphone 13 pro users expect 10bit prores support? once that feature is added this app truly becomes pro level

Exposure lock works on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I purchased all the bonus features offered. Wouldn’t hesitate to make the same investment again.

Would like to see the option for 4K60 Dolby Vision as Apple natively supports the higher frame rate. Playback of Dolby Vision doesn’t work in app. What a turn off. Additionally, would be nice to see the actually recording bitrates.

Ir plis very important to have the camera balanced. Other camera apps for default have a line measure level. I think filmic pro has to have it.

Long time user and the app gets better all the time but how did they beat Apple to launching this feature?? ❤️

Please give us the option to shoot music videos on Filmic Pro. All we need is the option to attach audio file to project and as soon as we hit record, both the music and video recording will begin this giving us a music video in full sync

Love the app as I’ve been using it for sometime. Unfortunately it just doesn’t detect my Smooth Q4 anymore and that’s pretty wack. It worked perfectly before so what happened???

Please please update it so the iso and shutter speed stay locked always. Please fix it so when you rotate it it doesn’t go back to auto.

Love the new film looks, worth the money

Filmic does offer a lot of great features but I hate it when an app relies on users to rely on other users on youtube for instructions on how to use the app features. Fimic does cover the basics but thats it.

I’m giving you guys 4 stars because you increased the size of the audio bar and moved it so the audio bar is clearly visible. This was a much need improvement. Thanks.

This is the highest performing and most reliable app for pro video capture, in my experience.

Been using this app for a long time to record high quality video, but you can’t record in 2560 x 1440 (1440p), which I and other users may need for the VP9 codec on YouTube.

I used to be able to use 1/48th shutter on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, but that’s NOT the case anymore. It’s messing with my workflow. What changed?! Please help!

I like what this app is capable of but there are hang ups like the frame rate options resetting constantly and freezing after trying to retime shots. My workflow is constantly hampered.

Lots you can do with this app. I was disappointed that in order to use all features of the Pro you have to buy another $13.99 in the app to access all features. This is a bait and switch.

One suggestion, make the Focus Peaking color adjustable, because shooting into green trees with green is sometimes hard to see. Suggest selection from Red, Yellow or White like Sony uses.

How did such a small change make such a big deal!? I’m a lucky man. Love this version. Great job filmc team. Keep it up.

This is a great app. But not a lot of gimbals for it.. it’ll be great if the Moza mini-mi was compatible for it. And more..Can that be done??
